Davis Yet Another Worry Mon 15th Mar 2004 14:36 Goalkeeper Kelvin Davis is an additional worry for Joe Royle ahead of Tuesday's visit to Walsall, the keeper having picked up a stomach bug. Better news is that Tommy Miller and Ian Westlake are OK, while Richard Naylor may play despite sustaining a broken toe against Millwall on Saturday. |

Town 2-0 Leicester Wed 26th Dec 2001 18:12 The Blues revival continued at Portman Road this afternoon as Town overcame fellow relegation battlers Leicester 2-0. Town 0-1 Newcastle Sun 09th Dec 2001 18:53 Town fell to yet another home defeat as Nolberto Solano, last year's red card villain in this fixture, scored a first half winner for Newcastle. Town 2-0 Leicester Sun 14th Jan 2001 20:18 Sven-Goran Eriksson got to see two English goalscorers this afternoon as Town comprehensively beat Leicester 2-0. Had it not been for some inspired keeping from former Southend player Simon Royce and one or two bad misses from Town players it could have been even more. Town went back to fourth in the table as Marcus Stewart became the first Town player to top the Premiership goalscoring charts. He now has fourteen League goals and one in each of the cups, his goal today was also his sixth goal in consecutive games. |
