Town Wait on Armstrong Wed 06th Dec 2000 10:43 Town continue to await Alun Armstrong's decision on whether he becomes a Town player. Stewart and Venus Main Worries Wed 03rd May 2000 14:17 Marcus Stewart and Mark Venus are Town's main worries ahead of Sunday's crucial game with Walsall. The Town record signing is still feeling the dead-leg he received on Saturday and is still not training, but he is expected to be fit for Sunday. Venus is still having trouble with his right ankle, an injury which has affected him ever since pre-season and he will have an operation on it in the summer. Manu Thetis is also still concerned about his back injury sustained in the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace. He is likely to take a place on the subs' bench unless Venus misses out. His situation should become clearer as the week progresses. |
