Reserves Lose at Colchester Wed 15th Sep 2010 20:54
Luciano Civelli and Damien Delaney continued their comebacks as Town’s reserves lost 3-1 to Colchester at Maldon and Tiptree’s Park Drive. The U’s fielded a more experienced line-up and deserved their victory with Lloyd James, Matt Heath and Kayode Odejayi on target, with Town replying via a Ben Coker own goal.

Luciano Civelli and Damien Delaney will again feature for the reserves this evening when Chris Kiwomya’s men take on Colchester United at Maldon and Tiptree’s Park Drive ground (KO 7pm). The duo played 45 minutes of last week’s second string defeat to Oxford United at Portman Road.

Dutch step-over king Fabian Wilnis is the latest former Town player to be recruited to the Legends side taking on Colchester United at the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Sunday 17th October (KO 3.30pm). Other new additions to the squad are James Scowcroft, Kevin Horlock, Gavin Johnson and Geraint Williams.

Defender Damien Delaney was delighted to make his return from injury yesterday in the reserves' 2-0 home defeat to Oxford United. Delaney has been out of action since the end of last season, first with an ankle problem then with a thigh injury.
