Jewell: Championship Wages Will Drop Fri 02nd Mar 2012 07:00
Town boss Paul Jewell says he expects the Financial Fair Play rules which come into force next season to lead to wages dropping at Championship level. The rules, the details of which are still to be finalised, will see wage bills fall across the division with clubs forced to live within their means rather than build up debts as they speculate in order to reach the riches of the Premier League.
Jewell's Concern at Heavy Defeats and Lack of Draws Mon 27th Feb 2012 08:59
Boss Paul Jewell says it’s a concern that Town rarely draw a game and generally lose heavily if they don't win comfortably themselves. The Blues’ fourth win on the trot, last week’s 3-0 victory over Cardiff, was followed by Saturday’s loss to Brighton by the same scoreline.
