Chairman David Sheepshanks has commented on the protests after Saturday's 1-0 home defeat to Watford. Around 150 North Stand fans stayed behind after the game to call for the chairman's head, continuing protests which had begun during the match.

The Blues will be without both Owen Garvan and Kevin Horlock when they face Watford at Portman Road on Saturday. The Irish youngster injured an ankle in the Coventry game, while Horlock picked up a rib problem in the same match.

Boss Joe Royle had no complaints after his side lost 2-0 to Reading at the Madejski Stadium. The Town manager was impressed with the Berkshire team and expects them to be in the running for promotion come the end of the season.

Dismal Town were easily defeated 2-0 by second-placed Reading at the Madejski Stadium. Richard Naylor netted an 18th minute own goal and Kevin Doyle scored the second after the break, while for the Blues Sam Parkin squandered a great chance and Adam Proudlock had a shot blocked when goal-bound.

Boss Joe Royle is confident that keeper Lewis Price will be fit to take his place in the Town goal when the Blues take on Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Sunday (Sky Sports One, KO 1.30pm). Price hurt first his hip and then his fingers while away with the Wales squad.
