Town legend Micky Stockwell further cemented his place amongst the pantheon of Town stars yesterday when he scored two goals as Colchester United beat an experienced Norwich side 3-2 in a behind-closed-doors game.

TWTD understands that Bryan Hamilton, joint Town first team coach with Tony Mowbray, will be leaving Portman Road after his contract was not renewed. The former player rejoined Town's coaching staff in November after previously having a spell as a player in the mid-seventies and coach in 1997/98.

Town's veterans are to be part of the London Masters in the summer when they meet Arsenal, Millwall and Spurs. Last year Town were in the Central Masters and became the only competing side ever not to score a single goal.

Town's reserve side face Coventry tomorrow (7pm KO) with Richard Naylor continuing his return to fitness. Yesterday George Burley said that Naylor would be in contention for Town's Easter programme if things continue to go well.

Town have been linked with Colin Healy, a midfield player from Celtic. Healy, 5'11", is 21 and hasn't made much of an impression on the first team at Parkhead, so far making only 18 starts plus another 15 appearances as sub, scoring two goals.
