A young Town reserves side lost 2-1 to a more experienced Stevenage line-up at Playford Road earlier this afternoon. Bermudian international winger Reggie Lambe scored for the Blues late on after Jerome Anderson and Callum Willock has scored for the visitors.

The first AGM of Ipswich Town PLC post-takeover passed quietly in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite in the Greene King Stand on Wednesday evening. Around 300 of the 3,875 shareholders in the PLC, which holds a 12.5% stake in the club, were in attendance.

Academy coach Tony Humes has left the club in the wake of the recent review of the club's youth set-up. Humes took over as academy boss in 2006 after Bryan Klug became first team coach, having joined the staff in 2002 from Wrexham's centre of excellence.
