Boss Jim Magilton has confirmed that he could make a bid for Bohemians striker Stephen Ward, as reported by TWTD earlier this week. Ward, 21, has turned down the chance to join Norwegian club Fredrikstad, a fee of £170,000 having been agreed with the Eircom League club.

Last-gasp-goal-hero Matt Richards missed training in Holland this morning as a precautionary measure after picking up an ankle knock in last night's 1-1 draw with Willem II. Richards volleyed home in the closing moments of last night's game to continue Town's unbeaten pre-season record.
