Town fell to their worst home defeat in the Premiership as a rampant Liverpool side took them apart. A fairly even first half looked to be ending 1-0 to the away side, but a Heskey goal just before half-time was the signal for a superb second half attacking display for the the Reds.

George Burley says there is still a long way to go for Town despite wining five of their last six League games. The Town boss is pleased to be out of the bottom three but he warned that Town have three very difficult games at the end of the season.

After a lacklustre first half goals from Marcus Bent and Sixto Peralta put the Blues two goals up before Malcolm Christie game the Rams hope. Martijn Reuser's first League goal of the season sealed it with three minutes left on the clock.

Town defender Wayne Brown has told TWTD that although the decision which stopped him going to Norwich on loan wasn't his he probably wouldn't have gone anyway. Brown, however, is convinced his career is now destined to continue elsewhere and will consider offers.
