David Sheepshanks has confirmed that talks have taken place with Richard Wright and with Blackburn Rovers regarding Franny Jeffers. The Town chairman does not expect either move to be completed quite yet.

Striker Franny Jeffers has reiterated that he is keen to make his move to Portman Road a permanent one should Blackburn confirm that they will allow him to leave. Over the weekend tabloid reports indicated that Rovers will axe the former Everton and Arsenal man later this week.

Boss Jim Magilton has revealed that Blackburn striker Franny Jeffers could return to the Blues before the end of the season. The one-time England international went back to Ewood Park earlier in the month after suffering a hamstring tear in the home game with Southend.
