OShea and Burge were awesome today. Muric massage me nervous with every involvement he had (I feel for him a bit). A well deserved team win.

We were very lucky today but we were do some O'shea and Burgess are developing a good partnership probably the reason we are conceding less goals than last season. Delap led the line well after last week's debacle. Not really any outstanding performances in what was a very poor game.

A great result, although slightly fortunate to collect all 3 points.

Burgess was great, Clarke at RB is a concern as is Johnson, Burns not good enough for this level and yet again another error from Muric!

Onward and upwards.

Blimey. And still people moan (see above). We're in Tenerife so today was the first match missed this season but from the view in our bar it looked pretty good. COME ON YOU BLUES

How does morsy get such high marks ? Muric had a more positive game than clarke who as always got caught Muric saved him a few times these scores are from people who have not seen the games at all.

WE can outplay anybody when we swicth and go forward swiftly. Its very frustrating when Omari suddenly stops and lets the wolves defence reform in front of him when a quicker ball forward would bring greater results? Good job Strand Laarsen is a dummy. Hero display from everybody today and the tactics worked at last. Not nuch for the moaners to discuss this time around? COYB

Very tight game. Wolves players did well to fight back with their supporters booing them. Hope we never do that sort of thing again at Portman Road. We did look vulnerable in second half when they kept catching us on the break and our forward players were not pressing as hard. Equaliser looked inevitable after Delap missed Burn’s beautiful cross that should have been our second goal. Big effort to win it by both teams. Town under pressure until last few minutes of added time when we decided to have another go with Wolves settling for the point. A corner was won a few seconds before the whistle with good work from J Clarke. He took the corner. The rest is history. Massive Ipswich contingent went crazy. I was with the Wolves supporters and I can tell you that the Town supporters made it more like a home game. Outsang the 27 000 home supporters throughout.
Burgess was outstanding again, as was O‘Shea. Our full backs are always going to have dodgy moments against premier league wingers. I would certainly stick with Harry Clarke until Tuanzebe is back. Jack Clarke made an impact this time. Very good 25 minutes from him. Some more stylish body swerves from Cajuste. Solid hard working performance from Morsy; great first touch and super accurate passing to feet as always; working harder than anybody to track back. Burns has improved his defensive work. Taylor looked good again when he came on. Always looking to shoot and retained possessing pretty well. Brilliant header for the winner and fist pumps at the end as an encore to Harry’s. Wolves defenders didn’t pick him up - obviously hadn’t read his CV.
Muric dropped no clangers and commanded box. Chaplin may have played himself into the starting 11 on regular basis with another busy performance. Szmodics had a few good moments in first half. Just what we needed.

Szmodics was not playing today?

Yes. I just realised Szdomics wasn’t there!! Thought he had a quiet game! Actually I had been watching the Tuesday night match on Town TV in the morning so I had him in my mind. Well that’s my excuse (that and the many pints of beer in the pubs of Wolverhampton). But it’s nice to know that someone read my report !

As I always say on here, Morsy is not being given the credit he deserves in the ratings. He does so much work, links everything, wins tackles, motivates and gets us moving forward. Minimum 8/10 in every match this season. Taylor deserves a good rating but he was only on for 25. Morsy is our best player match after match. I don’t think any midfielder has debuted in the Premier League aged 33 and made this kind of impact.

muric didn’t put a foot wrong and still many armchair experts mark him down. Ok he will wish he had stopped their equaliser but he should never have been in that last ditch position anyway and to be fair It was a great finish from a top striker. I’d give full marks to the whole team today. A massive effort and fantastic rebound from last weekend.

Thought Muric had a decent game, eveything stuck to him in last 15mins.,commanded area.
Lot of nonsense about conceding on the near post, seems to become part of football myth blindly followed without thought.
It was a good shot with power at a difficult angle that may have been slightly deflected,
not an easy save to make and there were plenty of obvious errors before the shot.
