Superlatives all around for a stable performance against woeful blunt Blades. soem strange refereeing decisions but who cares. Some useful debuts into the Portman road cauldron. maximum points to our suppoprt for the enthusiastic noise.

If we can get a result like this when we started so poorly with misplaced passes & constant opposition pressure what can we achieve when we play well? The positives are the consistent finishing. Goals win matches. A superb hat-trick from Philogene & hopefully a boost in confidence to build on this result into the season. After the first goal a definate improvement could be seen as confidence improved.

Philogene has left me with a rather large egg on my face after scoring probably the best hatrick ive seen at Portman road. My favourite player of all time is Colin Viljoen and watching Nunez made me feel very nostalgic in the way he effortlessly glided around the pitch making everything look so easy.
