MJR101 - what would you have suggested we do? We had no choice but to nurse him back to full fitness. No team was going to come in for him while he was injured and we couldn't have released him without a pay off while he was injured. Although I think he could have done a job, Jewell clearly saw him as being surplus to requirements. I'm sure they sounded out a fee but how likely with his injury record? His release has helped to free up wages rather than him warming the bench and getting 10 mins every 5 games.
