Lawrence: I've Heard Nothing From Leicester
at 16:30:25

If ever there was a moment for Marcus Evans to step up this player is it. The best Ipswich player I've seen for sometime. Come on Marcus, open the wallet, get in there early and make this lad a basis for a new Ipswich team that can challenge next season!

Actually no because then Sheff Weds and Burnley would also need to win their other games. As I say some pretty weird weirdness would be needed.

Though not mathematically safe it'd take some pretty weird wierdness along the lines of us losing 5-0 twice and Huddersfield losing to Barnsley but winning their other game.

Blues Linked With Move for Watford Keeper Loach
at 14:05:15

Quote from Watford fan..

He's a decent keeper, but really lacks any command. The difference when we had Kuszczak was fairly extraordinary.

Tractordamage, I'm afraid your own ignorance of the occupy movement somewhat defeats your point about justice. I don't know who put the banner up yesterday but the best description of it would be 'lame'. It made no point and in fact was so obtuse no one knew what the hell they were on about. Unfortunately, I, like many others have had a photograph taken with the damn thing looking like we stand by it. Living in Brighton I'm also going to have to argue about it for evermore.

Watford had theirs cut too and started an online petition. Suggest the Trust do the same.

Bullard Linked With QPR Talks
at 11:33:05

Can't help feeling we'll dodge a bullet here. Good player though he is our experience of older players has been consistently bad in recent times. Jewel needs to start building a young side. One that will get better and better over the next five years ending in promotion.

Though personally promotion doesn't interest me I'd like to see us Champions of the Championship and then turn down the premiership offer and defend the title.

I'm one of the people you describe. I stopped actually going to matches a few years ago. I don't find myself in Suffolk very often but when I'm there I should be attending games but the cost is just too high I'm afraid. The last time I went I paid £30 to watch my team lose 3-1 in a bad game. I decided I wasn't getting value for money and haven't been since. Personally the most I would pay for a game now would be £20, £15 would guarantee my attendance where possible.

Any chance you can add target="_blank" to the links so that they load in a new window. It's an nuisance having it replace Facebook. Especially as you can't back out of TWTD to Facebook afterwards (yes I do know double clicking works).

Evans\'s Donations to Lib Dems Total £530,000
at 13:23:11

Ah thanks Phil missed that. Anyone know what the net worth of the Bermuda businesses are? Just interested to know exactly how much money he does have to chuck at us.

Evans\'s Donations to Lib Dems Total £530,000
at 11:07:25

What I don't understand is how he can afford to own a football club when his main business only has a turnover of £55 million and profit of £1.8 million. The sums don't seem to add up when you consider how much he has spent on players etc over the past year or two?

Town Back in Bottom Three
at 22:59:04

To be honest I think its the fans who need to wake up and smell the coffee.

There has never been a stage during this season when relegation wasn't the issue yet fans on here and elsewhere have blindly assumed "Keano" would turn things around and we'd wizz up the table for a late play off spot!

Still as Keano says "any fool can get a side to mid table in the championship", seemingly not our fool though.

Keane Doesn\'t Rule Out Move for Celtic Defender
at 11:41:39

Though not a keane fan I am at least relieved to see that he has learned the lesson on transfer speculation. Much better to say nothing and then pop up with a signing than sign posting everything before hand so that prices go up and fans get upset when they don't come off. Perhaps our leader is starting to learn how to be a better manager!

Town Bosses Set for Early Pre-Season Talks
at 11:29:07

Well I'm glad to see they've recognised the problem at least. I've been on the last three pre seasons and all of them showed me the team was not ready for the start of the season. After the shambles which was the second half at Cork it was apparent to any Ipswich fan present that promotion was not going to happen this season. Lets hope they get a decent plan in place next year.

Clegg: Town\'s Debt Will Continue to Grow
at 11:08:43

Hmm. Can't agree with "all sounds good" I'm afraid. The plan sounds fine as long as Marcus doesn't have a heart attack or his business suffer problems. Can't say I'm happy about having my clubs future so dependant on one mans health and welfare!

Clegg: Town\'s Debt Will Continue to Grow

Just walk away Roy, walk away. Just because the executives of the club are spineless doesn't mean you have to be. Look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself "Am I doing a good job". You know its time mate so get that letter written and walk away. I've supported this club for 30 years and this is the worst its been. A shi** manager and an owner whos dragging us into the mire financially. Where did my club go, I don't recognise this one thats for sure!

Sorry but I think you're being rather pompous there and I would also say rather insulting. Just because someone doesn't agree with your "in Keane we trust" views doesn't make them stupid. Quite frankly if you look at the facts regarding Ipswichs start almost any other club would have sacked Keane already and its not unreasonable to think that there will be quite a few fans that think we should too.

Keane: Finishing Let Us Down

Have you no self respect. Time to fall on your sword Roy. You've turned our team into a joke and placed us in mortal danger of joining the canaries in league 1. Step away from the football team Roy, just walk away.
