 | News Comment | Edwards: Thanks For Making Ipswich a Home at 22:39:02
Tremendous guy as a person from everything I've ever read and heard, electric on his day, good luck with the rehab and smash it at Oxford, they've got a talent on their hands. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: We Tried to Use the Time as Well as Possible at 21:44:36
Find that really interesting that the immediate period of the break was actually intense training not just straight into a rest and time off. That performance team are so important, the athletic standards of the squad are just light years from where it was before |
 | News Comment | Hirst: Comebacks Show Our Character at 20:21:39
Agree with some earlier comments, it's vital to not just judge Hirst on goal output, the role he plays in McKenna's structure is key and he's been instrumental in lifting our level, plus will only get better as he gets bigger and stronger in that position. |
 | News Comment | Rosenior: Ipswich Are Going to Be an Outstanding Team this Season at 20:58:21
Love this, and Rosenior comes across incredibly well here, he's obviously getting a very good reputation already and I'd read that Hull fans were liking how they were progressing under him. Sort of feels similar mould to McKenna in that level of class. Good luck to Hull I'm sure they will do well this season under him, just finish below us please, as we all know Leicester are taking the title! |
 | News Comment | Ainsworth: We Can Beat Town If We Play as We Have Been at 21:36:59
Ainsworth did a pretty fantastic job at WW and I think he's a good character in the game. I'd like to see him sort things out at QPR, it's a decent club and despite the slightly restricted view from some seats a good ground to go to |
 | News Comment | Hirst: I Know I’ve Got a Point to Prove at 21:13:51
Nothing to prove to the town fans George, just keep doing what you've done for us so far, but it's great to see the bit of bite there, prove em all wrong! With you and Freddie up top we're in great shape, bring it on. |
 | News Comment | Gills Linked With Pigott at 20:05:25
Very strange comment from troyparrotsleftear, are you aiming for irony or just controversy for the sake of it? Best all round if this works out and wish him well, a real shame it didn't happen for him here and be good to see him get back on track at Gills. |
 | News Comment | Director of Sales Richardson Leaving Town at 18:25:33
For anyone that watched or listened to the interview with Alan Lee I'm pretty sure he called out Rosie as one of the really good people within the club during that terrible Evans era. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Taylor is a Good Profile For Us in All Aspects at 17:12:52
Huge fan of the approach with Aluko. McKenna clearly knows the importance of the right character when it comes to players as well as the staff and influence within the squad. Just like bringing in Keogh last season, that was really valuable. Hoping Aluko moves into coaching and stays around for a good long time, I've only ever heard really good things about him. |
 | News Comment | Nine Subs On Bench in Championship at 22:26:13
And people used to criticise the FA for being old men who weren't for changing. Situations of an outfield player having to go in goal might have been entertaining for the neutral but highly annoying for the impacted team and made the whole thing a game of chance. I want to see two highly fit, capable and competitive teams battling it out with a manager enabled to utilise strategic decisions throughout the match. If this means you can rotate and replace to keep the tempo high until the very last second then that seems great to me. Why would you not want to see that? |
 | News Comment | Ex-Tractor Girls Winger Grey Joins Lewes at 22:17:35
Missing promotion on goal difference must hurt even more right now. Lewes didn't finish that well but are the league above so you can understand it. Sheehan has done a great job from what I can see and hopefully he can rebuild, and when they get promoted this season these players will want to come back! |
 | News Comment | Former Blues Striker Nouble Training With U21s at 22:04:18
Nice to see, the club just seem to make so many good decision these days. I've heard he's a really decent guy and good luck to him for finding his next contract. Life for most footballers is transient and it's a short career. |
 | News Comment | MacAnthony: Taylor Could Propel Town to Premier League at 21:08:24
Don't have a huge issue with all this from MacAnthony, and plenty of compliments in here too, he's got a style that some may not like of course. Having said that I personally prefer we have a CEO who doesn't do this and just lets the accomplishments across the club do the talking. |
