 | News Comment | Reo-Coker Deal Done - Report at 18:20:45
Luongo & Wellens are both temporary, Rio-Coker at 28 and on a permanent deal is an excellent signing. With him Higingbotham and Campbell that should be a quality spine to any team at this level. |
 | News Comment | Jewell Hoping St Ledger Will Sign Today at 12:25:51
you'll find that a loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent deal will be the norm for most championship clubs in this window. It means that we have first refusal and a fee would have already been agreed, does well, gets signed, perfect! Get a Right Back, Jewell stays and we finish strong. Lest we forget that this club has been in a mess for years and this was a rebuilding process. We get a couple of big names in and you lot think that we will be world beaters. SUPPORT your club. |

Why does it have to be 4-5-1? Why not 4-3-3 will JET & Duke either side of Chopra, I can't wait! COYB!!! |
 | News Comment | Town Edge Closer to Sixth and Seventh Signings at 13:53:08
Is Fullop a Championship reserve goalie? No, and if he is not No.1 then perhaps its time to move him on and save the wages but Stockdale's recall clause leaves us vunerable like the Begovic loan. Defenders must be a priority now, a quality CB and perhaps a RB. COYB! |
 | News Comment | Town Linked With Move for Arsenal Striker at 09:01:39
Would be a great addition to the team but this must surely spell the end for Scotland and/or Priskin? However... what about defenders? we lost 3 centre backs and have brought in just 1 who so far has not played a single minute of pre-season. CB & RB must now be a priority. |
 | News Comment | Ingimarsson Also at Town Today at 08:42:38
I'm at a wedding today but won't be able to take my eyes of my phone, expecting a press conference at 12 with PJ in the middle next to Chopra in ingimarsson. COYB! Oh yes and good luck Matt & Laura |

I know it's just rumours & speculation but there does appear to be a great deal of bids all around the £1m mark. I know we have money but Evans & Clegg like to keep a very close eye on the purse strings to ensure that we spend above our means (and rightly so). The funds will come from the sale of Wickham who will be gone by the end of the month upon his return from Denmark with the U21s. £8-£10m to bring in 6 quality players will make the entire squad stronger. Dont mbe frustrated with the lack of movement so far, theres only a handful of clubs so far that have done any business, with the season not long over most players are away on holiday so deals cant be done. 4 weeks from now we will have a great squad under an excellent manager, I haven't been so optimistic about a season for years. COYB! |

 | News Comment | First Signing Imminent? at 09:12:58
I accept that Clegg has to represent the club at the Football League AGM but why on earth is it in Cyprus????!!!! who's paying for this? probably not too much of a problem for Championship clubs but what about the rest? Another fine example of football's upside-down priorities. |
 | News Comment | Keane: Ipswich Wasn\'t the Right Club for Me at 09:11:50
We'll Roy I finally agree with you on something, you were not a good fit. Mind boggling team selections and at times what looked like no tactics in play whatso ever. Despite a run of poor results it still feels like a dark cloud has been lifted since your departure. However I am certainly not a Clegg fan. It is quite obvious that he is not a footballing man, whilst I'm sure that he is a very clever chap who will certainly grow into the role you have to ask how much his inexperience has already cost us. The signing of Shaun Derry (on a free!) the signing of Charlie Austin (deal couldn't be agreed, went up the road to Burnley the same day and signed!) the failure to tie down some of our most experienced players (most notibally McAuley & Norris who will now both walk for free) I find his TV & radio interviews cringeworthy. I certainly hope whatever corporate package ME gets at the Olympics is worth it. |
 | News Comment | Town Linked With Mackail-Smith Bid at 09:38:11
I can see CMS heading for the Prem with the likes of Norwich or QPR, I think PJ has his work cut out to attract some real quality down here but hopefully we can get Bullard which would be a real statement of intent. Was in Berlin at the weekend and took in FC Union Berlin and would highly recommend young German Christopher Quiring, winger / striker only 20 and has the most unbelievable pace and touch. Their support also puts all English football to shame, non stop singing & chanting to support their team even when the opposition scored. |
 | News Comment | Jewell: It Could Have Ended Seven Each at 11:02:56
Only saw the goals late last night on Sky I would certainly blame Boro's 2nd & 3rd on the full backs. Edwards is not a natural defender and keeps drifting inside leaving the flank wide open. Kennedy's tracking is terible, just like against Palace on Saturday he allowed his man to peel off with ease bring the ball under control and slot it away totally unchallenged. Sign up Bullard, 2 new full backs & a new striker and we have a squad that can start to go places. |
 | News Comment | Drury Most Likely Final Day Signing at 10:08:13
If it has taken 9 days to sign a player from Luton for £150,000 the hopes of a deadline day coup are slim. I do hope that ME has some deep pockets in the summer as currently 2/3 of our first team squad will be allowed to walk away for nothing. |
