VAR and referees weren’t that biased against us last season. It became an excuse in the second half of the season at PR by a vocal minority whose vitriol and hysteria at times was frankly embarrassing, in the absence of something to support on the pitch and the realisation established PL teams were much better than us.
I agree, the app is really useful for keeping a record of games and grounds attended, use it instead of getting programmes now - no room in the loft! Agree with an earlier poster too and will get a programme if it’s a new ground.
I’m sure Mark Ashton said at some point around the end of the season we’re not a selling club. I assume it’s because at the moment we don’t have to be, and whether we will always strive to keep our best players unless we have to sell. I guess that’s how continuous development of the club will happen.
Interesting how different next summer will be if we have a good season next season!
I’d prefer to have almost the same XI given a chance to prove themselves in the PL, with new signings needing to prove themselves from the bench and earn their place in the side.
This reminds me of Millwall situation at the end of the 95-96 season to get in the play-offs. We drew, didn’t make the play-offs and Millwall still got relegated. Only time I’ve cried at a football match 😂
