I am chuffed as nuts about this and our overall business this window but am I the only one who is worried we might have overspent in case the unthinkable happens ?
I know Ashton will have structured the deals the right way and I am 100% sure all will be OK but I have that little annoying niggle in the back of my mind.
Probably because I'm an ITFC fan and always think half empty and need to start thinking half full :-)

The move away could be at Chamber's request. With 6 months left at ITFC plus a possible extra 12 months if we exercise the option we have, he might be offered a longer contract at NFFC and therefore be pushing for the move himself.
Either way not a great move by ITFC but maybe, possibly one that isn't their doing.
By the way, still not happy with the lack of signings in general, for that I do blame ITFC and all that sails within her ! |

I am not as negative as some towards MM (he has got to go though), but I was dreading this as it will wind Lincoln up even more to play well, make ITFC even more nervous and I can only see one result and national embarrassment for the club.

I am not a die hard "MM out" supporter but even I would like to see the guy who has the shirt keeps the shirt unless he has a bad game(s). Kenlock did nothing wrong and in-fact played very well so for me, he should keep his place.
However, I will support the team whoever plays.

Bloody hell, we lose 2 games, albeit poorly I agree, and everyone has suddenly become a football expert and also turns against the team. Gerkin has made mistakes and I am sure he doesn't need to be told that and I am sure he will be keen to make up for it but as a GK, his mistakes are highlighted for everyone to see. Not one member of that team Friday night played well, including Sears, so shall we drop them all or shall we take the easy way out and put the majority of the blame on one man, Gerkin. Either support the team as a whole or bog off up the A12 and support Colchester because some of the comments on here cant be from true ITFC supporters ! |

Very impressed by the 2 full backs but it was Benyu that stood out as quality. Although Henshall didn't set the world alight, slightly unfair to put his performance in the same bracket as Stewart. Henshall ran all night and seemed to be putting in the effort while the same couldn't be said about Stewart. You can see why he isn't a MM player and will probably be on his way sooner rather than later !
Disappointed not to see Dozzell as was looking forward to seeing him. |

We are and always will be a selling club so if we get an offer in the region of £8m+, then it is a no brainer and we have to accept it. Hopefully the funds will be reinvested as that could be the difference between top 2 and top 6 next season.
Whether he is any good or not, I bow down to the professionals and although he did make a few mistakes last season, some costly, I accept he has massive potential to become anything he wants in the game. I just fear it wont be with us. |
