Not a fan of loans but this is the one position where we do need cover and this has been obvious all summer. If we fail to sign someone, serious questions need to be asked, tbh is shouldn't have gone this close to the wire. Maybe forget about signing midfielders/wingers/forwards where we had ample cover and get a decent CB in? |

Laughing at town being bottom and saying be careful what you wish for when getting rid of Mick.

I'm glad we are carrying on our policy of signing League 1 players for big money, after all it's been a big success so far
I can't think of any other club buying so many players from the lower leagues for so much money, why doesn't every club do this, are they missing something? |

I would rather we play our youngters than this dross, I don't get Hursts unwillingness to play any of them! Some of our guys looked promising last season, and have done well out on loan, and remember the few matches at the end of last season under klug, chuck them in, they really can't do any worse. |

that PH might be a little out of his depth here. Signings, selections, formations, not been impressed so far.....and if you give me the age old line 'give it time to gel'.... whatever happened to the new manager bounce? seems to be more of a plummit than bounce! |

not saying it's down to just harrison or jackson, but when you lose the goals of waghorn and garner and replace with l1/l2 forwards....serious problems. Can't see either of them getting near double figures. |

Why arnt they playing in a game like this?
Could have just played these, saved millions in buying average league 1 and league 2 players, rather than sending them out on loan. Really not convinced with these signings given the high prices paid. |

Not talking about the 2 poor results, but generally concerned with the way things are going. Spending millions on average l1 and l2 players in the middle of their careers, just because they have played under PH before??? This is blocking our youngsters coming through, rather play Morris, dozzell,nydam,downes emmanual ahead of these guys. Nothing against taking a punt on young players from lower divisions, MM did this very well and made us millions in profit, but spending millions on these guys seems crazy.
Dozzell played 70 mins against west ham and now isn't even fit enough to be on the bench?? Some players don't need to be super fit but can change a game with skill, were le tissier or gazza ever hitting top basic fitness levels?
Emmanual had a cracking season with rotherham and got promoted, now third choice right back?
Downes and nydham both have a fair bit of champ experience , now pushed behind players with none!!
I know Wolfy is injured, but for Blackburn he was left out for a League 2 right back!!!
Some worrying decisions , hope PH has a rethink.
