 | News Comment | Jewell: Chopra Has Been at Sporting Chance at 13:00:35
Carsey - I'm sorry but that is an unbelievably naive comment to make, I really don't think you should say things like that when you clearly have no clue about this or the affect it will have had on his life. I wish you well Chops and have a huge amount of respect for you in tackling this head on, it can't have been easy in the environment he is in. Up the town |

I doubt it, they didn't last year when it happened and it says there are likely to be delays of 60 minutes with a number of the trains being cancelled |

First of all you've described Keane as an "Infamous manager", really? I think that's a little harsh for one of the Premiership's best ever players who has just started out in management. Also i aggree with SouperJim, I don't believe many peopple expected Priskin to be sold, he was a huge investment and after a disappointing season we would have been lucky to have got half of what we paid for him. Flicking through this again, I don't think I get your point here, is Keane an infamously bad manager or is he doing well with the youngsters?? What's the point of this blog? Apart from that the blog was good in a way |
 | News Comment | Wright Linked With Manchester City at 11:00:50
Hype313 - no you're not twiddling your thumbs at work, you're writing on football forums instead, thats much more honourable Come on, the chance to go to a Man City and earn a lot of money, I think most people would go for that |
 | News Comment | Walters Has No Plans to Leave at 16:57:21
But surely him keeping Edwards out of his favourite position means that he's doing something right, he's our top scorer and has played almost 90% of the time at right midfield. Ok he's not going to beat the opposition left back with pace but he brings a lot more to the team than that Would definitely be missed |
 | News Comment | Walters Has No Plans to Leave at 16:34:14
The whole 'I'd try hard if i was given the opportunity' argument is over used i think, its a completely diferent level for a professional to be seen as a 'hard worker'. But i dont agree thats all he's got to his game, i admit that he hasnt been fantastic this season, but noone has this season in my opinion (with the exception of McAuley and Delaney possibly), he's a top player at this level and all im saying is that people seem to froget just how good he was for us I think its this kind of player we need to keep hold of and build the team around |
 | News Comment | Walters Has No Plans to Leave at 16:10:19
Some people on here have such short memories, Walters carried this team under Magilton and is still one of our top performers and always leads by example. Hoping that 'someone comes in for him' is such rubbish, he's had one bad season in what has been an extremely average season (he also came out and admitted that) but we can't just look to get rid of him. People talk about having a consistent side out so we need players like Walters, McAuley, Leadbitter, Norris etc to stay and then build a team around them He's also our captain so I for one hopes and fully expects him to stay and play a massive part in next season!! |

Good work Keano, I agree Harwich it seems as though he's putting a real emphasis on bringing through younger players. Once he gets his squad of players who want to play do well for him, players like Norris, Murphy, Walters Leadbitter etc then we'll be a much better team next year |

xrayspecs - we've had a lot more players come through over the last 10 years than a lot of other clubs in our position: Wright Scowcroft Naylor Bent Bramble Dyer Ambrose Clarke Garvan Trotter Haynes Smith Wickham Supple Rhodes I'm sure there's many more, the acadamy can't be expected to produce players like Dyer every year but theres always been a steady stream of talent coming through |

I couldn't agree more, but thats the clubs fault and not players. No player in their right mind would turn down a large contract because they thought the club couldn't afford it. I have a feeling that in a couple of years time we will see the first major club go bankrupt and dissappear from the league (possibly Portsmouth) which could possibly/hopefully see a different attitude taken by many clubs. How Leeds are still running as a business I have no idea |

Chicorytwin - Bit of a chip on your shoulder there. I think it was David James who described his position as a footballer very well a couple of years ago. His point was that he's in the top 100-200 people in the world at doing what he does (some may disagree), if he was as good at running a company as he is at football then he'd be earning a hell of a lot more money. Just have to get over it in my opinion |
