Lee-Barrett: Season Has Been Challenging
at 09:52:37

jas0999 they are professional footballers, if getting dropped shatters their confidence they should find another job. As Jewell has pointes out look at the way Martin, Hyam and Drury as you mention reacted to being dropped. They worked hard and have taken their chance when it next came. There are only 11 starting positions in the team, and competition for places means getting dropped/rested occasionally.

I for one have faith in PJ, he seems to have found a decent team right now with stability and competition for starting places, and his man management seems to me spot on.

Town Launch New Kits
at 12:36:31

Quality video, nice to see a bit of humour.

Now save your money, don't spend it on a kit that looks pretty much the same as other past kits (ooh but there's a bit of red in it! Who cares?)

In fact, instead of buying a kit, spend your money on a ticket to come and support the team, and you'll have still saved yourself 17 quid which you can spend as you wish.

Town Launch New Kits
at 17:35:34

Won't be there tomorrow, but I'm sure all our travelling fans will give him a massive cheer! He's obviously gone through a difficult period in his life (don't we all at some stage) and also had to go through it in the public eye which must make it much harder. It takes a lot of courage to face up to a problem like this and as Town fans we should do all we can to support him through it.

The more support we give him, I'm sure we will be more than re-paid in goals!

Jewell Faced Anxious Wait for Bowyer

'Show me a man who's never made me a mistake and I'll show you a liar' Well yes, but most people's mistakes don't involve chasing down and beating up asian students.

Jewell Faced Anxious Wait for Bowyer

I only got my phone bill last week, and I paid about £30 for calls, never got through, and didn't get a ticket, so I spent 3 times as much as I would have paid for a ticket, and didn't even get to go to the game. It is ridiculous, I will be phoning to complain, and urge as many people to do the same. If enough people complain about it they may be forced to change the system.

Keane: We Deserved the Win
at 10:58:41

I read these comments after all the games, and rarely post, but I can't help myself now. I can't understand these people who are still saying 'Keane out'. Look at the facts:

The start of the season was disastrous. after all the expectation of the summer no one could have expected such a poor start to the season, when we got 8 points from 14 games. However, since then we have 39 points from 24 games, and have lost only 5 games out of 27. If we'd had that form for the whole season we would now be on 62 points, and 4th in the league. Would people be saying 'Keane out' then?

I know you can't just pretend the first 14 games didn't happen, but if you'd have asked people after those 14 games what position you'd like the club to be now, any sane person would have gladly accepted 15th place. We're going in the right direction, and will build for next season.

Any change of manager now would be totally counter-productive, and lead to another period of re-building. Ipswich has always been a club where the manager has been given a reasonable period to establish themselves. How many examples do people need to see that club's with stability in the manager's position do better than clubs which change manager all the time?

I don't want to see Ipswich become a club with a revolving door policy with managers, they are the clubs that end up in trouble. Get behind him and the team, even if it does take another year, two years, or even longer, the good times will return.

McAuley: It Was the Worst Feeling Ever
at 09:57:29

Everyone who's agreed with this must lead an incredible life where nothing bad ever happens. Ipswich means a lot to me, but I find it a bit insulting that he thinks that he cares more about conceding in the last minute than I do about the worst thing that has ever happened in my life. I know footballers like to exaggerate, but a bit of perspective needed I think.
