Dear Mr KMC, it is OK to drop a player when he is clearly out of form and we have a perfectly excellent backup warming the bench up. Yes we know Davis is some sort of miracle that we are blessed in having and he is Englands next bla blah but he has been completely s&£ this year!!!! Poor Cajuste was the only player who wanted to win last night, the rest were just dreadful, no team play, no combinations, all that we had last year with Burns and Chaplin has sadly gone. We now have great individuals who don’t play well in a team. Probably the reason they were available to buy. I said it before, the best we played all season was against Liverpool at home, the same team that won us promotion last year |

Everyone marking down and blaming Godfrey, I get your point, but he didn’t have much help in front of him. Both goals from Johnson wouldn’t have happened if Davis had any clue how to defend. He was nowhere near close enough. No point in calling for Townsend, everyone thinks Davis is Englands next left back but he cannot defend at this level and has cost us way too many points this year. Just so frustrating having watched superb displays from Townsend to then see him dropped like a hat. Phylogene is very rusty but clearly going to be a star so let’s get behind him. Midfield looked really good, a lot to be happy about but the usual mistakes from the “undropable” make Spurs looked good |

He’s not the messiah!! Recruitment looks a bit suspect right now, admittedly Delap looks bargain of the decade and Canjuste is class. But you really have to question the fees paid for Muric, Philogene, Clarke and Hutchinson. I’m sure they are lovely lads but “fitting the profile” isn’t doing is much good right now. I admit I was never a huge fan of Chaplin but right now he would be my first player on team sheet. We have gone backwards IMO. Strange to say and obviously you animals will mark me down but our best performance was against Liverpool on opening day when we played the promoted eleven |

What a defensive performance, thoroughly deserved 3 points but for incomprehensible decisions from Morsy and Davies. Davies’ sloppy passing and idiotic decisions in the box has cost us more points than Muric this season. Kudos to the other 9 players who did everything asked of them and more |

Three at the back and O Shea moving to the midfield in possession looks proper. Canuste is going to be a real gem of a signing but please can we bench Davis and give Townsend a run, he is so shot of form it’s painful!
