Reminds me of the story of Allan Hunter flattening a young Terry Butcher in training, asking if he wanted his mum and was going to cry. Bobby Robson and Ferguson watched it happen, didn't interfere, the next tackle came in and Terry Butcher got his own back on Hunter. After that Terry Butcher felt he had arrived.

I've often wondered what would happen if the player, that people said "I'll drive him there myself!". Actually turned up on their doorstep with the bags and their boots? Would they follow through on it and have really awkward silence the whole journey? What if the player signed for Aberdeen? |

Sorry but I think it's best all round if he leaves. I've heard a number of rumours that's he's very unhappy in the area. He hasn't looked happy for months. Yes he played very well away at Brighton, but it's not worked out since. Let's wish him the best and move on. |

I wish him all the best, but I think it's a mistake. Sorry, but I think he'll get lost in the mix at Chelsea and sent out on loan a year later. Coupled with Maresca, being unlikely to stay very long if they're not in the top four by Christmas. Not our problem, I know. |
