 | News Comment | Town Eyeing Leicester Forward McAteer at 13:49:28
Calm down! It’s just another news report, based on very little. The negativity on here is, in terms of transfer speculation, reaching peak ME levels. Wait until players have signed before casting judgement. |
 | News Comment | Town Eyeing Uruguayan International Defender at 07:40:54
There are a lot of assumptions at the moment. In this case a news report suggests we are linked with an experienced 25 year old international and the negativity has started. Why does it automatically mean that Woolfy is off? If he is then his recent contract will ensure we get a good fee for him. Why does it mean there is no incentive for youngsters to come to our Cat 1 academy? Using the example of Woolfy again, he has had a good career and will almost certainly continue to have one for years to come. That seems to be incentive enough. Some people like to moan whatever happens, or might happen. |

So, I come on here to read a somewhat controversial subject and who should I find but prebbs007 who rarely appears; when he does it’s to be totally negative. Then he gets stroppy and tells people not to get personal despite having previous for calling people idiots. What a sad life. As for Omari; it’s a shame it is ending like this. I hope he goes on to achieve great success but unfortunately due to his recent behaviour I won’t look upon him with great affection. Broady showed far more class. Some of us will remember Wrighty going to Arsenal because of his agent (Barnett) and his career never achieved the lift-off everyone expected. History has a habit of repeating itself……. |
 | News Comment | Neom Linked With New Cajuste Approach at 17:07:56
It’s not reading the news items that is depressing; it’s some people’s reaction to it We are looking at PL. Most of it is already at PL clubs who won’t decide on their squads until late August, then the market hits up. We might have to wait longer for our really shiny toys. Too many people playing computer games who then start believing Ashton just has to push a button! |
 | News Comment | Blues Linked With Loan Move For Reims Defender Kipré at 18:48:34
Here we go; moans about MF and a striker when we also have a Burgess sized hole to fill. We can’t fill positions in order of priority. I would have thought that is obvious to everyone. |
 | News Comment | Ashton: We Have to Look at Recruiting a Different Type of Player at 16:31:39
Blueboy, RUBBISH! There is natural churn at every club. Two players reached the end of their contracts and for their own reasons didn’t go for what was offered here. We have sold another for £30m due to a relegation clause in his contract. The fact they have gone won’t deter anyone. Stop resorting to ridiculous hyperbole which looks ridiculous. |
 | News Comment | Ashton: We Have to Look at Recruiting a Different Type of Player at 11:30:47
I ought to be grateful to people like Darkhorse because people like him/her are helping me decide to step away from social media, for a while at least. I realise how much time I waste in reading ignorant rubbish from people who, based on their certainty, must excel in their running of complex organisations! |
 | News Comment | Burnley Confirm Tuanzebe Signing at 22:53:59
So ArnieM, lightningboy et al, can we assume you never have, and never will, change employer even if it is better for you and your family? Axel was great and I wish him well. Just remember - he’s not a fan in the SBR, he was an employee. |
 | News Comment | Chelsea Strong Favourites to Sign Delap at 16:36:46
Chelsea: horrible club that chews players up and spits them out, entitled fans who forget they weren’t that great pre-Abramovic and a current team full of drama queens. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Pretty Definite Philogene Won't Play Again This Season at 16:13:49
Lee James I won’t give you personal abuse but neither do I respect your opinions. Once I deciphered what you were saying I decided it is absolute rubbish. Yes, we have underperformed on occasion (not for lack of trying) and no doubt players and management have made mistakes. That is all part of the learning process and as a club we are still way ahead of where Gamechanger expected us to be by now. Supporting Town must cause you severe mental health problems so why don’t you just enjoy Liverpool on the to. Finally, you deride players who came from L1 and 2 clubs. Ian Wright played for Dulwich Hamlet until he was 23. He was quite good in the PL……….. |
