Knudsen: New Deal Discussions With My Agent, I'm Concentrating on Helping Town Climb Up Table
at 13:23:49

Some of the comments are harsh, and they have been since he joined.

He's the type of LB that defends first and attacks second. Compared to Cresswell and Mings he isn't as good going forward. Knudsen is a good defender, he plays for the badge and that's the type of player we need to keep. Kenlock is better going forward but isn't fit, but once he is the competition for LB will be very good.

If he does stay that leaves us with two good LB's, Kenlock and Knudsen. We do need a new RB because Spence is not good enough, whether Emanuel is the answer or a new RB I don't know. But this is something, along with a striker that can score goals, that needs to be sorted come Jan.

Lose at Ipswich and We Are Really in Trouble - Notes for Bristol City
at 13:26:11

I didn't realise how bad it was at Bristol, lets get the 3 points and really pile the pressure on the teams around us!

Then onto Nottingham away, which will be a tough game!

Lambert to Be Confirmed Town Boss in Next 48 Hours
at 09:08:42

Given the situation we are in, we need an experienced manager to come in and keep us up! Whether he is the man for the job, time will only tell, but I hope he is.

In a way it would be nice if an ex Norwich manager keeps us up, and then beats Norwich at Carrow road... something nice about that!

Lets all get behind him and support the team, they are going to need all the support they can get!

Hurst: Waghorn Move the Best Decision for Everyone Concerned at the Time
at 15:24:15

We had 4 recognised strikers last season, McGoldrick (injured for the majority), Sears (out of postion), Garner (started well but faded near the end + injury) and Waghorn. Out of them we know Waghorn was our best striker.

We now have Jackson, Harrison and Sears as our recognised strikers. Plus Ben Morris forcing himself into the first team. Looking at this we are not lacking strikers, I admit at the moment we are lacking goals but this will come in time, of this I am confident.

I know these players are from Lower league, but how many other players in this league are from league 1 and 2 and doing well. Watkins for Brentford was signed from Exeter, Bradley Dack is from the lower leagues and he looks very good at this level. All these players need is a chance, I would think players from the lower league are hungrier than a player dropping down from the Prem.

Hurst Expecting Edwards and Donacien to Be Fit to Face Villa
at 09:48:23

Important to get Edwards back, he is going to be vital for us this season!

@Currie10 - I think Emanuel should get a chance against Villa, Donacien has been ok but I would say going forward Emanuel is the best out of the 3 RB's we have. I have never rated Spence, against Blackburn he was useless. Donacien was playing CB, which explains why he struggled because that's not his natural position. Back 4 for Saturday should be Knudsen, Chambers, Nsiala and Emanuel.

McCarthy Bitterly Disappointed But Pleased With Performance
at 09:18:43

The first half he can be pleased with, as am I. We should have taken our chances, we hit the post and McGoldrick should have scored that header! Plus Waghorns attempt in the second half was close! But the second half was the exact opposite, it lacked passion and fight. We conceded and had no plan B, though most of the time we had no plan A.

All I want is to beat Norwich, im sick of them beating us, especially at home! Listening to some of Micks comments before and after the game, I dont think he cares as much about the derby as the fans, and I think that rubs off on the players, to them its another game!

Sheffield United 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 10:10:09

The team selection was poor and cost us, firstly our midfield was poor, please can we stop playing Ward in the middle, and even at all. Since the Barnsley game he hasn't done much, which is a shame because I hoped he could peform like that in every game!

We set up defensively, which away from home against Sheffield I expected from Mick, but what I can't work out is that we started with a back 3, with chambers, webster and knudesn as the back 3, with Kenlock on the wing. Then it seemed to change to 2 at the back with Webster infront of the back 4, which didn't work. It fustrated me that he now has Webster back, but played a LB in CB instead!

For the Norwich game he needs to go back to 4 at the back, with chambers and webster as the CB's. Drop Iorfa who I think is very suspect defensively, he can't seem to control the ball, looks like Bambi on ice! Play Spence who I think is alot more reliable.

Town Chasing Record-Breaking Five Out of Five Start Against Fulham
at 15:25:41

This is a winnable game, they have good players but are in really bad form! And I take comfort from the Brentford game that we can keep a clean sheet, and that we can score with the likes of Waghorn and Garner! Hope Skuse recovers for tomorrow, his experience is going to be key tomorrow!

All-Change for Town at Palace
at 15:25:55

I havent got any problems with this, its a really good chance to see how good our youngsters are! Before the summer I hadn't heard of Flynn Downes, there might be another player that plays tomorrow that could be a hidden gem and help with our injury crisis at the back! And if I'm honest the FA cup and Championship important to me, dont give a s**t about the league cup!

Millwall 3-4 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 13:41:46

Listening to this on the radio I was loving it, end to end and exciting! Been wanting a game like that for ages!!

Waghorn, Garner and McGoldrick have been brilliant! linking up so well! Defensively we were very suspect, but we are missing Smith and Webster. Although we conceded some poor goals, they can learn from that and get better! Aslong as we outscore the opposition I am happy!

Great start to the season, credit to Mick and the players! COYB!

Town 1-0 Birmingham - Match Report
at 09:31:04

Going into the game I was confident we would win, and happy we did. First half was slow, as if we were still in pre season! Then second half we came out all guns blazing and played alot better! Good to see Garner get his goal, deserved that as he did not stop battling Morrison and Roberts! Everyone in the whole team worked hard and deserved the win, including Knudesn who delivered a fantastic cross for the goal!

Shame about Dozzell, he was running the midfield at times, but then Downes came on and he ran the midfield too!

With Waghorn and Barnes potentially coming in, and the likes of Huws and Bishop to come back, exciting times to come!
