Appreciate that when Nunez came on the game was wide open and we were dominating, however interesting how many touches he got of the ball in just 27 minutes. 31 touches and 20 accurate passes according to Sofascore. Underpinsthe comments in this thread.That dominates the stats for our players as well based on minutes on the pitch. Hopefully one to grab a game by the scruff of the neck and influence. |

I thought he had a great game. It was interesting how important he was to supporting the overload high up the pitch on the left. Must be something we have worked on. Ball carries, linking some play high up the pitch and final third overlaps. Good for him as he had a couple of exposed moments in the first few games.
Burgess was important in the last promotion with his raking balls down the line and cross field. Will be fascinating to see how Greaves role develops in an attacking sense. Very different, high risk reward, but maybe gives us options to unlock teams in a new way. |

I was going to write this exact comment. The majority of big issues seem to have come from multiple people all weighing in with an opinion and group think / off field VAR officials leading the witness before the ref has viewed the footage. 2 or 3 reviews per team per game. Ref views the incident themselves with no interference. Var team only there to provide different camera views or roll footage back /forward when directed by the ref. |
