@blueboy1981 'hope you get a move' What?!? Only if it's good for Ipswich. He is one year into a 4 year contract and we'll be a much better team with him than without. We are short in his position and as we know with the Hackney saga we can't just spend the money to get who we want! The profit will only be £12m for a player who is likely to be worth much more in next few years. Promotion is so important for us this year and so if keeping Omari gives us a better chance, then he should stay! |

He commanded his box superbly, made some great saves and yes let one in at his best post, but it was a great strike and wouldn't have been easy trying to cover the whole goal from that angle. I think he’ll stay with Ipswich, but go to United in a season or 2 after he has experienced a season (or hopefully 2) in the premier league with us.
I think he’ll meet with Utd officials and a future plan will be made for him to be their manager. This will stop him going to Brighton or Chelsea now!
It will also give Ten Hag and an extra season who after yesterday he is probably due and will save United a lot in sacking compensation

Very solid performance and another huge win! Crazy Morsy getting himself booked for such a silly reason in last min. I think like some have suggested, bench him for Tuesday. We need him for Norwich and even more for Leeds! This is great news that we are looking to the future with strength and depth in the GK position, but anyone else getting a little worried about the lack of attackers in the squad?
With Yates signing for Swansea and Ellis going to Coventry, that's 2 of the top strikers that could have been great options for us.
Hirst could still happen, but with his lack of game time for Blackburn last season, I'm not completely confident he is quite ready for a starring role in the champ and would rather have him plus one with more of a record at this level.
I feel that if we don't make a move for someone soon, we could end up I'm the same position as last season, reliant on Freddie! |
