Did you happen to watch Motherfatherson recently on the BBC. It wasn't a Norfolk love show it was a lovely series paying tribute to your pal Murdoch with Richard Gere playing his role. I think you would enjoy it, the ending was rubbish though

Try and find a flight from the UK to Madrid on the weekend on the 1st of June or try and find a hotel room in liverpool city centre
Can someone clever please explain how league 1 ffp work?

With the championship you can lose a set amount over 3 years but this all resets with prem promotion. How do the parameters work for league 1? Do the champ losses for the past 2 season get blended to the league 1 losses? Do we reset if we go up next season?

Sheffield United Player of the year. That is some achievement considering their season and the goals of Sharp.
The touch and pass against us the other night in the 1st half was pure class and summed him up
I need somewhere to share this because I am struggling

I lost a friend today and it hurts so much. My friend was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2011 and given 18 months to live but he defied the odds and was going strong till now. He lives a long way from me but I visit through work quite a bit and we go for a curry and a drink, I have a hotel booked to take him out this Wednesday. He is honestly the nicest man that I have ever met in my life and leaves behind 2 young children that he had just before the diagnosis. I knew this day would come but having gone this far it seemed that he would now last forever. It hurts so much!
I am sorry that this is selfish but I needed to share the words I can't stop crying and he is all i think about when I close my eyes.
Life is f*cking horrible sometimes.
My final view on Lambert*

He was brought in to paper over the cracks and he did this really well with his off field stuff. The problem is we have now taken away the paper and he hasn't been doing anything to repair the cracks at the same time, worse still he has allowed them to continue to grow to levels where they almost look unrepairable.
*I don't want to talk about him anymore. He needs to fix this asap over the summer and next season. We cannot tolerate what he has served up so far, we need to play to our strengths and not make players fit a system that doesn't work. If there is a continuation of the Lambert can do no wrong nonsense all summer then i might reply but I'm not starting loads more threads on him like we have seen others do in the past.

I detested keane but I'm not sure he was this bad. We have no direction no style and no hope.
If you blame it on Hurst and give Lambert a free pass then you are clueless.
I ranked Swansea as equally bad as the rotherham game that year. Today was worse

The big positive is that he knows plays in front of fans where they all appreciate him. We always had a section here that didn't understand, he was slated for being lazy and having no pace. It is usually the same section that say they don't see anything in Skuse.
I am also grateful that we got to see him in his time here. He made the entrance fee worthwhile.
Lambert points per game

I mentioned recently that I would expect every failed and ridiculed manager to be able to at least match the points per game return of Lambert. Are there any managers with 28 games + in the history of the championship that have ever returned a worse return than this? How bad could it have got?

He has long won the war and humiliated the numbskulls, they are so quiet these days because they know how badly they got it wrong. It is sad to see Mick laying the boot in when they are down even if he is right

The singing that Ronnie's mum is a milf when it was his 14ish year old sister. Singing there is only one f*cking Oscar to a 6ish year old
Both a bit dubious but taken in seemingly good spirits
Successes and flops of the season?

Successes have to be the return of Bish, Downes pushing on a bit more, Lankester breaking through and possibly the loans of Judge and Keane
Flops. Jackson and Edwards, both look so far out of their depth that you wonder how they play above conference level. Quaner turning up with an apparent pedigree and being an absolute cart horse. His touch to try and control a throw in yesterday came off his knees and landed 10 yards away.

If we can't play 2 up top when we have nothing to play for and we are already down, what hope is there to see it used next season when we are competing for points? I think we were better off under Hurst, Sir Bob came against the same player revolts and dealt with them.
