I am glad we didn't waste 30 Million just for the hell of it on a crock, and not a very good One at that. Ashton did his job correctly, the same as he did in trying to get Latte Lath in the door, you can't force clubs to sell. |

I find it amazing how suddenly Ashton and co have "let us down" Get a grip, they have done a phenomenal job this Summer. I bet the same people moaning about the lack of another striker would be moaning if we spunked 30 Million on Broja only to find out his a bang average crock, I am glad we didn't waste that money on him.
As for Nelson, who can help it if a guy changes his mind at the final moment ? Cant be Ashton or McKenna's fault, it was his decision and in any case he is not a striker.
Yes I feel we are a bit short in the striker department but we are where we are, Latte clearly wanted to come here but again his employers thought otherwise, it wasn't for the want of trying and as we all know McKenna will only bring players in here who fit the brief and not individuals to potentially harm all the good he has done so just plucking strikers names out of the air is for Football Manager nonsense, not the real world. Now get behind them as we all said we would !!!! |

Clarke has Two years left on his contract so for me 15 Million won't cut it, especially as Spurs have a 25% sell on clause, I think we are gonna have to be around the 20 Million plus 5 in add ons to stand a chance. |

I can certainly see 5 but very hopeful of 7, but if we click and get it right like the first half against Liverpool then why not more?
We have to believe in ourselves and believe we belong in this division, confidence and belief is half the battle and will win us points. There is only Two or Three teams we should be weary of, the rest we take it to them !! |

Our biggest defensive problem is actually Leif Davis, yes he had a good first half but once they had changed it he was all over the place and badly exposed. Going forward Leif is sublime but even during the last Two seasons defensively he's suspect. |
