Widj123..... What the heck???? Are you insane? It was always going to be an incredibly tough season and yes it didnt work out for us but to call for McKenna to go is outrageous. We had 20 years of mediocrity and downright awful football. McKenna has two promotions in two years, creating life long memories and you want him gone? Just wrong. We are better than that. Give him another year at least and see where we are. |

Hopefully a good one! He's performed on a regular basis, top scorer and whilst he still has a lot to learn he still put a shift in.
The buy out clause was needed just to get him in the building and whilst not a huge pay day for us...still get back double we paid for him (minus Man City sell on)..Don't think his wages would have been outrageous either |

I agree with most of the sentiment on here, it would be great for us if he stays.Two promotions in two years, means he has a fair bit of time before anyone should question him. Hopefully he can keep building a team to get us promoted AND be competitive in premier league.Big ask though |

I don't know what the future holds...and being owned by a pension fund / hedge fund or whatever isn't ideal....but it's a whole lot better than in the dark days of signing amateurs from Denmark ..now we have nvestment in the infrastructure/the academy and non playing staff. And yes...we had two fantastic promotions that will live long in the memory. So...put this season down to experience....and enjoy the journey ahead |

I'd agree Jack Clarke is a good player and would hope to keep him next year. Will be a shame to see Delap go...but honestly I've thought Hutchinson flatters to deceive...and Philogene not lived up to expectations(I thought he was ace at Hull)
So many questions for next year...hoping Hurst, Clarke, Cajuste (if he can be convinced to stay?), Tuanzebe can form a back bone of sorts? Lots of gaps though |

Yeah an excellent news item....reflects the mentality and attitude we want from a Town player. A great initiative anyway, and he's thought to himself ..'right I'm injured long term, how else can I contribute/make a difference'.

Sure it wasnt that long ago we were signing a Norwegian PE teacher (Skard?).....ok it was 15 years ago...but it didn't get much better until a couple of years ago.... |
