I think that will have to go down as one of my favourite away days. It obviously didn’t have the emotion of Barnsley or Coventry away but memorable for different reasons.
A sunny day in Liverpool, the most welcoming and hospitable home fans. I lost count of the times my son was stopped to wish him a great day. Non stop singing from the blue army. We even sang ‘Going Down’ to ourselves twice as loud as the Everton fans could muster. Very similar to Portman Road in many ways, although im surprised it holds 10k more. Great day out. The Blueee Aaaarmy did us proud once again. |

I was sat on my hands in their new stand, our away support was tremendous all game. The Fulham fans we were speaking to at half time said it was the best away support they have seen this season. |

It’s that bloody Cobbold stand. We were in B block and it was great pretty much all game. Although we can’t hear the away fans at all and I know villa made some noise. Speaking to a villain afterwards and they couldn’t hear us at all. |

Wheras I was a nervous wreck every game last season I’m thinking that with expectation a lot lower games will be less stressful. I can see a comfortable Liverpool victory but this team does keep surprising us. |

I know it's been said a few times amongst various threads but I wanted to praise Blue Action for their unwavering support this season. The atmosphere is terrific. yes its easy to support a winning team and yes everyone is on cloud nine at the moment but I have no doubt the continual singing/drumming/bouncing/clapping/waving/dancing even when we are losing helps the players. They are also a driving force for the unique connection that the fans have with the team at the moment.
So, whoever you are, thank you and keep up the good work.
P.S When does Mckenna get his own massive banner like Lambert Did...? |

I seem to remember the Inter fans not caring about the Uefa cup and it was half empty hence we were given loads more tickets. They also conned me into drinking alcohol free Becks before it was a thing! what a weekend that was though. |
