May dip in and out of a few matches if I'm not busy with anything else - it just feels like a financial orgy. If you're interested DAZN are doing all the games 'free' - you will need to register and give some details.
Jack Clarke - is great with the ball at his feet, people underestimate how good he is at picking the right pass, looks to have a good finish on him too as well as the ability to assist. Think he'll be a major contributor in the Championship where I expect we'll be attacking more.
Really hope we can keep Hutchinson too as I think those two will cause problems for everyone we face.
Bizarre game so far, great scoreline but we've struggled to string 2 passes together and keep the ball for more than 5 seconds. Chelsea have been in some great positions but look like they're playing their first pre-season friendly.
Would be great for us to get a win but, IMHO, from a footballing point of view it's been a poor game so far.
I agree with many of your points and that we need to have a sensible discussion about an aging population but I do take exception that people see pensioners as being "out of work". Certainly, for many that will be the case, but just in the last week I've seen pensioners running libraries, helping at museums, being involved in work at 2 local nature reserves and helping at a hospital. I know many of them are paying Income Tax due to having private and state pensions.
There is a hidden, older population - "not working" but contributing to our public services and society in general that needs to be included in that discussion.
Believe the state visit should still go ahead ... Starmer and King Charles should sit down with Trump in front of the national media and start roasting him about his sexual conduct, connections with Russia, racist motives, storming of Capitol Hill, constant lies etc, etc, etc, etc. And they wouldn't even need to make things up like Trump and Vance had to!
Slight touch on Man City player on edge of box analyzed 20 times in order to give penalty, stonewall foul on Ipswich player in box - "Nah, let's not bother".
I disagree, Phil could learn a lot from this guy. Sets the scene nicely, keeps it succinct and adds a layer of mystery at the end. I'm hooked and waiting for the inevitable follow-up.
