There are loans and there are loans, some of PJs I could not understand and were truely scraping the barrel in terms of quality and with little stratgic value. This one is makes complete sense, real quality player, experience, triggers Edwards forward to a position we all can see is his natural one. Most imporant message I feel is that Mick can attract the sort of quality players here we need. Lets hope this goes through and perhaps becomes permanent. The rebuild starts here.... |

Talking of old gear, does anyone know of an effort to collect the old kits and take them out to Afganistan or the like? From memory that happened a few years ago and Id be happy to donate our old shirts - more regularly now it seems. |

Agree goalkeeper and Centre-back need stengthening as they have done for a while. Only seeing the odd game, and those at the start of the season, I would have said RB was our biggest issue. Clearly teams were coming to Portman Road and targeting Carlos, successfully pulling him out of position. Have not seen any of the recent performances so interested to see the comments about Carlos playing better but at a minimum I would look for a young challenger to the RB position (Creswell have a similarly talented right footed twin?) |

I agree with BSITFC - of all the emergency loans we need its a right back! I was back in Blightly over the summer and able to see the games, and clearly other managers have been reading our message boards and attacking specifically down our right. With Sonko in now I would rate a RB as top most priority. |
