In his case, I doubt he'd move. Seems like a very introverted guy from the bits ive read about him. Did a few months at Chelsea and hated being away from Southampton, so moved back sharpish.
Not to say he hasn't matured since then, or wont in the future. |

This is a non-story and very common in football. United are actively trying to sell players they have identified wont make the grade rather than letting them go for free. That's not to say there aren't football league quality players in there, so some clubs may be interested.
There's about a million things to laugh at with Man Utd, this isn't one imo. |

We shouldn't really be offering him more money to stay IMO.
This is the model. We buy young players with high potential and develop them to sell for profit. Omari leaving is the process working.
Recruiting well is the key. |

Seems likely it was never really "off" from our perspective, just what we wanted people (Chelsea) to believe.
Certainly if the fee/terms turn out to be more favourable. |

Why would we cancel his contract if we had a loan option available? We'd have to pay up his wages for the year.
Edmundson isn't good enough based on what we have now. If 1-2 get injured, he becomes a squad back-up option. We can't just 'buy someone else' all the time. |
