Leicester Hare Krishnas....
at 20:44 17 Mar 2020

I met some of the Leicester lads that were dressed up that day. In Hamilton Hall Liverpool Street about 10 years ago. Was having 1 last pint after a heavy session before the train home and got talking to obvious football lads. Once they knew I was Ipswich they were happy! Said they loved that day and have been doing Ipswich away ever since. Said it's such an easy away day but way back when said you'd always get a scrap here but never turned nasty like at Everton etc.

They all said massive respect Ipswich.

Didn't all London lads used to stay over on Friday nights as well?

What are the rules next season on wages to turnover?
at 12:34 15 Mar 2020

I know the relegated 3 clubs get one year off so to speak but aren't we the same as the rest of the league thereafter? Even with 50% cuts I guess some of the below must be moved on?

Chambers
Skuse
Judge
Sears
Edwards
Nolan
Donacien
Nsiala

ST renewals

I think any season ticket in any part of the ground costing more than £350 then every chance will be average of 10,000 next season. I think it's next season whereby wages to turnover gets stricter so God knows what will happen.

This virus can work two ways for the club. Blokes bored shtless for 2 months with no home game or they're surprised they didn't miss it so won't be renewing.

You're not understanding. Where did I say they're the only options? Whoever is Evans' and Chambers' next victim here then they have to follow 6% & 26% records. Point is I wouldn't boohoo anyone with those 2 clowns setting standards.

Hold on a minute, Hurst won 6% of his games here. Lambert has won 26%.

Why the hell do you need "selling" on someone to be better than that?

Absolutely spot on. My football hero and considering what he achieved in the 60s criminally in the shadow of Robson here.

The very same people I bet my house on not making a single bit of noise during the game. Not one song.

Famously known as The Ipswich Cabbages.

So who would you want to actually stay?

I know it's not as simple as that, especially in today's mental football world but anyone saying no to Barton just listen to his interviews pre and post match against us. Yeah he has a mad side but my god he speaks some sense without the usual cliche dogsht.

Because he's learnt the ropes at Fleetwood I can't see him demanding £1m each window which obviously will never happen here. He seems to get a buzz out of making poor players better.

You cannot fathom why a manager who keeps on punching well above his weight would be wanted? 11th last season and looking top 10 this season, all with effectively a village team attached to Blackpool. I saw enough in their football and approach when they were here to want him. Didn't you?

Footballers are egotistical vvankers so the Hurst comparison doesn't wash. Losers like Chambers wouldn't down tools with Barton like he has the last 2 managers, Barton more of a name. And by the way Hurst was bang on after that Exeter game, he knew the football club was powder puff and a lot of senior pros needed moving on, he just completely went around it the wrong way.

For me it's Joey Barton. As a character he wouldn't have allowed what we've served up this season (especially, yet again, from our senior pros). And he clearly gets poor players to play way above their level. All done with not a pot to piss in.

No brainer.

Loads saying (and rightly so) sack the players as well. Obviously that isn't going to happen. But come August who do you NOT want here? So many I'd happily not see wear our blue ever again. For me:

Chambers
Skuse
Judge
Keane
Nolan
Kenlock
Donacien
Nsiala

Whoever is Evans' next victim he will have a huge rebuild on his hands.

Paul Lambert has a 26% win record since arriving. (78 games).

Do you now realise you chasing your own tail for so long was wrong?

3 complete simpletons next to me in North lower did. Irony is they don't make a single bit of noise all game (50 and then a couple in their 70s) Then decide to do that.

Can't get my head around why they've chosen those seats. Haven't seen them join in with a single song all season. Piss off to the other stands where you can sit in peace.
