One of the best threads I’ve read in a while. I was born in 1951 which probably gives me 15 Prime Ministers if I count Harold Wilson twice for two terms, without doubt Boris is the worst by a country mile and second worst would be beaten by a landslide including Tony Blair.
That’s definitely enough of politics but it just slipped off the tongue (apologies for that), anyway the best PM definitely wore our No9 shirt and was the best ITFC centre forward of my generation marginally ahead of Ray Crawford another Town legend. I was lucky enough not to miss a single home game during Mariners Ipswich Town career and he was indeed the complete CF of his era and his understanding with Trevor Whymark was telepathic.
In my opinion Paul Mariner was one of Bobby Robson’s very best signings along with Arnold Muhren and Franks Thijssen. |

Comment | We Should Encourage the Club and the League to Stream All Games

As a former Season Ticket holder now living in Spain I would be more than happy to pay to watch a regular live stream of Towns fixtures. However my experience so far of trying to watch these streamed games using iFollow have not been very successful due to login issues and each time I’ve given up. I think if Clubs got their marketing campaign right, got the price right, and simplified/stabilised login this could be a very good income stream, particularly next season when many older fans may still be feeling vulnerable to catching Covid-19.

As a Town fan living in the Midlands it's far easier to obtain tickets to sit with the Home Fans even though I'd prefer to sit with and feel safer sitting with Town fans. Unfortunately ITFC make it difficult for those of us who have moved away from Suffolk and find it easier to watch Town play away rather than travel the 300 or so mile round trip to home games.

Do we really want another 30 something who's played no competitive football this season, I think not.
Stephen Hunt is past it and can go elsewhere to be put out to grass.
In my opinion would be another Bullard/Bowyer signing.
