Ipswich Town under Kieran have been brilliant , but all of the analysis, all the tactical calls and all the comments about “keeper this and keeper that” are utterly missing the point. At this level, we just aren’t good enough. Simple statement worth repeating ‘at this level we just aren’t good enough’ meaning championship football next year. |

I have no problem with McKenna at all. If the biggest club in Britain come looking, probably tripling your wage, crowds of 75k per week and a club you’ve supported since your youth, no one can tell me you’d not be tempted . If he leaves, we move on and trust Ashton to get it right again with the next appointment. Loyalty doesn’t exist in football and probably never has and we will never be able to compete with the top 6. We are in the premier league, if you leave Kieran thank you for getting us there. If you don’t leave your job is to keep us there which would be the same for any new manager …. I support the super blues, but let’s not be naive here we will face a massive challenge to stay in the league and Man Utd don’t … so if Kieran goes wish him well and don’t kick him for being one the biggest brightest talents in football management that has every right to maximise his net worth. |

I haven't potentially got the results in the way that the guys were looking for as such, but I don't think that was the remit, the remit was to give the guys a little bit of time, to come in, try and get the guys in a better place.…… John Mc Greal last night ….the remit wasn't to get results ….. proves what a laughing stock this club is …. As far as I'm aware it's about winning but at Ipswich we have to stroke the players ego first by getting to a better place !!! FFS |
