Let’s hope we haven’t put all our eggs in 1 basket with Hackney
at 11:50 28 Jul 2025

So with the season starting in under 2 weeks and the team in desperate need of another CM, it would be amazing if we can pull a deal for Hackney.
My concern is a prem side will take a low risk punt and essentially muscle us out.
Hopefully we have some other targets in mind as running out of road to get this vital slot replaced.

In’s and Outs before Brum Away
at 21:18 24 Jul 2025

With the season just 2 weeks away, are we close to accepting the starting squad is what we currently have.

Undoubtedly the starting 11 should be very strong in this league - what positions do we really expect to strengthen in the last 2 weeks.

Losing Hutch sadly looks inevitable and probably not a position we need to cover but for me another CM is essential and do we really keep AAH as back up for Hirst??

Ed - ID Entry Requirement
at 08:14 12 Jul 2025

Thanks. I can get the tickets into his phone wallet no problem. It was just whether IF was really being checked to link to original booker. Ridiculous rules for anyone wanting to gift a ticket and could never see it being enforced with a need to get people in quickly.

It is definitely advertised as being released today dor
Sufficient notice.
I can’t find any official communication but wonder if it is related to the sad news this morning.

Omari off for 19m with 25% going to Chelsea

I think what would be more realistic is his release clause is triggered. At £35m with a 25% sell on clause it does leave next to no profit on a very exciting prospect which is a little disappointing.

Have you seems wrexhams budget for next season. It is forecasted not to be too far behind ours with their FFP manipulation.

I think Broadhead will want to leave and suspect Wrexham will tempt him with a move to Wales.

We have a lot of right sided players to keep happy if we keep Burns.

Need to spend wisely and a central midfielder and a striker.

I am guessing :

Harness
Al Hamadi
Delap
O’Shea
Hutchinson
Broadhead
Burns
Burgess.
Johnson
Muric
Walton

Plus loans:
Phillips
Caujuse

Could be some significant change.

Buying Ed tickets
at 15:00 8 May 2025

You can just send the tickets electronically.
There is no chance ID is going to be checked at a concert when the prioirty is getting people in quickly and safely.

Does anyone know how ticketmaster works.

If I want to buy tickets using my ST priority for my brother to attend.
Is that possible? Assume not printed to specific person etc.

I didn’t realise how many games get moved until you look at a side like Leeds. They have hardly played a 3pm Saturday game. Going to be lots of moans from those unaware and moaned this season with minimal disruption.

You are probably right and no room for sentiment in football if you want to replicate a Forest, Brentford or Brighton.

at 10:06 9 Jan 2025

Rewind 2 years and who would have been brave enough to think of Ipswich in the Premier League securing a front 3 who lead the line for England U21’s.
The transformation is incredible but it will undoubtedly come at the expense of losing 3 or 4 of our previous promotion hero’s and fan favourites.
The likes of Woolfy, Burgess, Clarke, Chaplin and Burns will have to make way and some moved on which is very sad but a result of the success and natural evolution of football if you want to compete at a higher level.
The signings are very smart from a “Young English Asset” point of view and should hold the club in a good position regardless of where we finish with Delaps value probably writing off the cost of all 3.

Yellow Cards

All this talk of Liam Delap yellow card and whether it has been registered for suspension… another question…. How did Jack Taylor not get booked for taking shirt off in celebration. Strange day all round for bookings. 😂

MOTD - Ipswich

Haven’t watched it for years … but in a little way saddened on how as a child used to love watching this as an opportunity to watch the highlights after a game.
Watching repeats on the journey home and social media and SKY TV has certainly taken some of that magic away.

Do we think McK was actually serious about leaving?
at 22:08 27 May 2024

I think his agent has had the club against a rock and a hard place and if reports are true that we are the highest paying team for a manager doesn’t feel right for our status.
