I will answer my own question. The 23/24 premier season started off with a single fixture on the Friday evening of the first weekend so probably it will be the same this season and due to the interest in our rise of the last two seasons I think there’s a decent chance we may be involved. |

Dissboyitfc. Probably not as Sky will leave it until about 2 weeks before to announce what they want and everyone will have to fall into line. But to be fair a large proportion of the millions the club is to receive will come from them. |

If my memory serves me right didn’t he go to Plymouth with Terry Austin as part of the deal that brought Paul Mariner to Town, the two of them plus 220k me thinks. Could do with a Paul Mariner type forward at the moment with GH out for much of the rest of the season. |

Re Priskin.
In his autobiography ( bought for £1.50 at a local charity shop)he says he asked Simon Clegg to handle that transfer and he should be able to get him for around 450K only for Clegg to come back to him to say I’ve got our man for 1.2 million. Says a lot about how the club was run by people who knew nothing about football. Thank goodness for today’s owners and management. Happy Christmas one and all. |
