Well the way I see it ,money talks .and if delap wants to stay and become a better player and gets a nicer weekly wage ..we could have him nxt season..cos if he feels with him in the club for nxt season others may want to stay as they feel ipswich have a better chance of going back up again..unless we have to sell him for financial reasons plus to balance the books ..I do feel If bigger clubs go in for him..he may only get certain game time,plus if promoted sides go for him..he probably says to himself, I may end up going down anyway.!! The only clubs in a far better position to nearly make him start in games are forest Brighton. Spurs maybe...it will be intriguing..nxt few months. |

Well 3 things come in to play here...1.its up to the owners if they can afford to keep him..2..if they up his wages ,which at the end of the day is what players love lol ..and 3.if the 30 mill release clause comes and delap is free to call the shots ,but as other comment has quite rightly said. Unless He guaranteed to start. He may not want to go ..and prefer have his higher wages here and be on the starting 11..he is still very young.. |

I think a lot of people building up philogene too much..yes he's a technically good player but when he was with Cardiff for over 34 games ..he only scored 3 goals..yes 23/24 season he has goy 12 and a few assists ..but have we not got a few players that have scored that amount too and not valued at 15 million or more ?..I know the only factor that is making him more attractive and valuable is being very young. But many a young player has set a season on fire and following Yr to be a damp squib...I value jaden between 10 and 15..no more.. |

Chelsea only knows too well that unless they play him from day one or at least on the bench and brought on as an impact sub like we have done..he will only get rusty from little match time and be less effective..so that's why I see him coming back to us in whatever shape or form...and also he is a bit light and still needs to bulk up a bit as he will be coming up against a lot more athletic. Stronger and technically better players...so a season with us will give a better ideas how he will cope |
