If delap was a lighter frame of a player. He be just ordinary..the fact his big and strong and bulldozes through players and holds up play and scores just rises him up a level...so not fussed about him leaving..its hutch I feel would be a bigger loss out of all the players |

It's all very well to say ,hirst and a good few of the team that got us up to Premiership will get us there again and so much to look forward to ..but its there the problem lies...we need to be rebuilding stronger and not go in to the top tier spending another 100 plus on players with no Premier experience and also have to give time for the néw players to gel ..we be fighting for survival desperately yet again not a pretty sight..mckenna needs to have a very strong side built with the minimum of additions to make up the team for the Top flight |

Well the way I see it ,money talks .and if delap wants to stay and become a better player and gets a nicer weekly wage ..we could have him nxt season..cos if he feels with him in the club for nxt season others may want to stay as they feel ipswich have a better chance of going back up again..unless we have to sell him for financial reasons plus to balance the books ..I do feel If bigger clubs go in for him..he may only get certain game time,plus if promoted sides go for him..he probably says to himself, I may end up going down anyway.!! The only clubs in a far better position to nearly make him start in games are forest Brighton. Spurs maybe...it will be intriguing..nxt few months. |

Well 3 things come in to play here...1.its up to the owners if they can afford to keep him..2..if they up his wages ,which at the end of the day is what players love lol ..and 3.if the 30 mill release clause comes and delap is free to call the shots ,but as other comment has quite rightly said. Unless He guaranteed to start. He may not want to go ..and prefer have his higher wages here and be on the starting 11..he is still very young.. |

I think a lot of people building up philogene too much..yes he's a technically good player but when he was with Cardiff for over 34 games ..he only scored 3 goals..yes 23/24 season he has goy 12 and a few assists ..but have we not got a few players that have scored that amount too and not valued at 15 million or more ?..I know the only factor that is making him more attractive and valuable is being very young. But many a young player has set a season on fire and following Yr to be a damp squib...I value jaden between 10 and 15..no more.. |
