 | News Comment | Town Confirm Knudsen Signing at 09:50:23
Love this signing...very, very strong pedigree...capped by Denmark and all age groups through to full international. £350k in today's money looks a steal... Very happy with the transfer dealings this summer...focus on quality like Niles Maitland & Knudsen over quantity... |
 | News Comment | Murphy Close to Town Deal at 23:06:30
To be honest I'm underwhelmed...he's ok and puts in a shift but if our ambition is Premier League (we're up against QPR, Reading, Wigan, Leicester, Watford, Brighton, Blackburn, Leeds etc), I don't think Murphy is the difference maker or quality that puts us ahead in the promotion race. To move forward, its time to be more dynamic with improving the team |
 | News Comment | Ex-Loanee Campbell Weighing Up Options at 13:49:37
Agree with the general consensus...DJ is a player I have a lot of affection for given his goals, and commitment, helped us out at a very difficult time. But he moved on, and so have we. With 2 quality strikers now on board in McGoldrick and Nouble, we need to use our resources well and prioritise more needy areas such as a pacey wide man and technically gifted playmaker - youngsters whose transfer values can increase in the future |
 | News Comment | Symonds and Milne to Be Named Joint MDs at 22:40:49
A chief information office sounds like a nerdy back office function to me...not the calibre of career progression I'd remotely look out for a front line in a progressive football club which I'm hoping we still are |

As awful as Clegg was...how can a Chief Information Officer qualify as a MD of a football team...Clegg out but bring in some front office football sense Marcus |
 | News Comment | Symonds and Milne to Be Named Joint MDs at 22:33:28
Clegg...Go Riddance...your appointment set Ipswich back years... Ability 0/10, Commitment 1/10, Charisma 0/10, Performance 1/10, Value for Money 0/10, Pleased you are gone 10./10...now time to ditch the other bad apples in the summer and move forward to where this club belongs! MM is a good start |
 | News Comment | Chopra Targeting Premier League as Evans Linked Again at 21:43:13
Evans would not be an upgrade over most of our forwards...even if Wickham goes, Chopra and Priskin would be one of the better strike pairings in the Championship...we need to focus our limited resources on areas where we having a gaping hole in quality...Centre Back, 2 x full backs and centre midfield... I'm liking the idea of bringing in Shelvey...Liverpool are now crowded in centre midfield with the addition of Henderson and so a loan deal shouldn't be dependent on Wickham going the other way... St Ledger would be very nice at Centre Back...not sure about 33-year old Ingermasson though... |
