Come back with me in time to 1962/63, my firsrt season supporting Town. We were League Division 1 Champions the previous season, but struggling in 62/63. Now here is a thing, after 19 games our record was W3 D6 L10 - just like now. After a freezing January and February, when there was hardly any football, the season was extended and we picked up enough points in April and May to finish 17th out of 22. Happy New Year. |

I remember it well. I could not get into the North Stand where my friends were and ended up in Churchmans. A great achievement by Bill McGarry, although he left us for Wolves later that year. |

Some years ago, following a major upset in my life, I trained to become a Samaritan. During my five years volunteering as a Samaritan, I listened to hundreds of callers and I like to think that just by listening, I was providing support. Callers to Samaritans do not have to be suicidal, in fact most callers are not. They are there for you 24 hours a day providing a fantastic listening service. |

I cannot see him playing again this season but it would be good to get him to Portman Road on May 4th to join in the celebrations. |

Knowing Me Knowing You is the anwer to that. Coogan had a fantastic team with him - Patrick Marber, Rebecca Front etc. |

When I first started watching Town in the old second division in the mid-1960's, it was not unusual for attendances to be around 9,000 to 10,000. |

A lovely County. I grew up in Wellington, before it became Telford. As others have said, Severn Valley Railway, Blists Hill and Ironbridge. |

When I worked in financial services, a new sales manager used the Severn Bore as an analogy for being a successful salesperson (riding the wave) and an unsuccessful one (standing on the riverbank). Pure David Brent. |
