I really cant see that the atmosphere at the club has been entirely toxic for 15 years??!! When evans first came in there was a similar buzz and we were spending money and looking to compete in the championship. We got to the playoffs, i dont remember that being toxic. The new owners ate operating on a 7 to 10 year plan but if we dont get to the premier league or become a serious championship force in that time its likely they will do the same as evans ie reduce investment and look to cut there losses. This is why some supporters expect so much of paul cook as this is our chance to become a competitive force again and we cant afford to waste time in this division when we really need to aim to be in the promotion mix in the championship to satisfy our investors |

Its great the vibe of positivity around the club, its a bit sad that anybody who constructivly critsise anything at the club have to labelled as not true fans or Norwich supporters though. Blues 1 lol really??!! Its the nature of the beast of being manager mate, you are held accountable for the performance of the players for preparing them physically, tactically and mentally. If your not prepared for that probably best not to apply for the top job. In addition paul cook recruited virtually everyone personally so he is naturally going to be held resposible. The players have responsibility but this us not a one off poor performance against weaker opposition which suggests a pattern, a pattern which requires managment attention. I understand you are a fierce defender of cook and thats fine, im not sure on him but am hapoy to praise when it gies right, you however seem unable to admit that he needs to address an obvious issue with motivation and commitment against weaker sides. As the manager who brought all these players to the club and works with them everyday he is responsible for ensuring performance level and that standards are maintained. If the players ate being complacent or lazy he needs to sort it out. He would be cut more slack if he was working with what he was given but he made it clear he could not or would not do that... So the owners gave him what he wanted and he is held accountable for results/ performance... May seem harsh but tgat is the reality of being the manager |

Penn blue I'm not missing the point, in the end the buck stops with the manager, he selected all the players the backroom team, he got Peter Reid in. The owners and Mark Ashton have done everything they can and backed him unconditionally. It's up to him now as manager now to achieve our aim which has to be promotion, when I work for my boss landscaping the client will in the end hold my manager/boss responsible, even if its his workers who made the error, he's in charge and ultimately responsible.... I think it may be you who is missing the point.... Anyway let's hope we get where we need to be and wish him all the luck in the world |
