 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-6 Manchester City - Match Report at 14:45:02
Keep the faith everyone… we are lucky - we all support an unbelievable football club. We had 20 years in the doldrums but now we’re back and it’s going to require every breath of our support to help the boys til the end of the season just like we did at the end of the game on Sunday COYB! |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-2 AFC Bournemouth - Match Report at 09:12:10
It’s time to put Walton back in goal.Muric has had his chance and you cannot keep picking a player that keeps making these basic errors…especially your goalkeeper. I thought Burgess was superb at that back yesterday. Regarding fans leaving early… this has happened EVERY game this season - I don’t get it! Just to avoid the traffic and get home 10 mins early - Even the Man U game with the possibility of a winner people were still leaving!! |
 | News Comment | Fans React Angrily to Portman Road Parking Price Hike at 09:52:40
Pure greed from the incompetent and useless IBC. We have the eyes of the world looking at us and what have they done for the town since we were promoted to the Premier League…. nothing!! Take a look at the Sir Bobby Robson Bridge… it hasn’t been cleaned for years - total disrespect to the great man.We hear about endless projects in the town and nothing ever gets done! This car park charge is yet another slap in the face to the people of Ipswich and Suffolk. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-1 Leicester City - Match Report at 10:48:21
Should have been a penalty without question but for an inept referee and VAR team who also couldn’t wait to send Phillips off. Cooper reckons Leicester deserved to win the game… not sure what he was watching from the west stand ! |
 | News Comment | Blues Legend Whymark Dies at 23:01:37
RIP Trevor - truly honoured to have seen him play for the Town and idolised by all our fans. Great footballer and incredible header of a ball. |
 | News Comment | Ashton: We've Agreed to Buy Land Behind the Cobbold Stand - Updated at 12:14:31
The council owns the land that Portman Rd sits on and the club owns the stadium. As with the above comment not sure why the club needs to buy the land needed for the Cobbold expansion from IBC. Council ownership has always meant that no private owner can ever sell the ground. |
 | News Comment | Seven December and January Games Move at 21:17:45
I think we all expected this to happen but it’s a total pain in the a**e. It’s impossible to plan far ahead and juggle fixtures with work etc… The moment you do try and plan the games get rearranged! Sky etc do not give a flying fig about the fans that attend matches. |
 | News Comment | Membership Details Announced at 17:43:57
Myself and my daughter managed 20+ games last season plus a few aways with our memberships but looks like we will be lucky to get to 5 or 6 games next season. With seasons loyalties pre 23/24 not counting any more it seems that as long as you went to 1x game last season you have the same priority as someone who went all last season and who have been supporting the club through the rough times. |
 | Blog Comment | Mick's Contempt for the FA Cup is an Insult to Fans at 12:15:27
Going out of the Cup is no guarantee of promotion - to not have won an FA Cup tie in 6 years is embarrassing... we have the privilege to participate in one of the great cup competitions in world football and then decide to show it no respect whatsoever... Ipswich Town is a club with a proud FA Cup history and with managers in the past that would give everything to win and go through to the next round... Its a good job Sir Bobby didnt have this attitude in 1978 or when he got us to the Semi Finals of 1975 and 1981. |
 | News Comment | Portsmouth 2-1 Town - Match Report at 22:58:38
The FA Cup - one of the greatest football tournaments in the world and we treat it with total disrespect... Very disappointing. If footballers cannot manage more than a game a week with the modern training and diet etc available there's got to be something wrong.Under Sir Bobby we had a much much smaller squad and Always gave the Cup everything we had.... Rant over!!! |
 | News Comment | Town Closing in On a Sell-Out at 14:00:57
In the past we have had all seater attendances of 30,000+ v Norwich and West Ham so not sure why this game will be just under 29,000.The Corner of Sir Alf was probably only 200-300 seats..... 1000 empty seats as segregation seems well over the top |
 | News Comment | Town Announce Norwich Ticketing at 12:49:46
£40 for any championship game is a total rip off, but I am sure we ripped them off earlier in the season so once again its the supporters that get shafted.I agree with TractorRoyNo1... don't buy the ticket and give the money to The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation |
 | News Comment | Town on Hot Food Policy at 11:55:09
Food Safety Issues... What a load of squit. It's obvious to anyone why this policy is being enforced and it's not for Food Safety reasons!... Come on ITFC dont take us for idiots |
 | News Comment | Tickets Selling Well for East Anglian Derby at 11:54:21
It certainly seems like the price is a factor as this game used to sell out pretty quickly in years gone by.The categorising of matches is a big factor and £32 for the cheapest seat is too expensive and the fact it is Live on Sky will prob mean we have empty seats which is crazy for an East Anglia Derby game. |
