The way we went down to the third tier from the Championship without even a whimper was my most embarrassing experience as a Town fan for over 50 years.The tail end of MM's tenure leading up to it ran it a close second though,never experienced a worse disconnect between the Club and fans even in the grim John Duncan days. |

Yep,the Coventry game was a real eye-opener.The ,obviously,Coventry biased commentary team were going on at the start of the game about how “in-form Coventry” were going to put struggling Premiership Ipswich to the sword and yet we were all over them like a bad rash. |

I've followed Town for over 50 years and attended all the big games home and abroad but in recent times not too much beats the feeling when the second goal went in against Exeter at the end of April 2023 and we knew it was going to be all right.
The sheer joy and relief at knowing we were definitely escaping that god-foresaken Division was unbelievable. [Post edited 5 Dec 2024 18:08]
