No shame in that today. Battled but not much of a contest. Disappointed by Newcastle actually; contested every decision and moaned to the ref like F. Not sure that is the the sort of activity Bobby would approve of..... A real shame to have gone down but it wasn't for lack of effort....

I am not a happy clapper so I am very frustrated by tonight's game but I think we are still in the mix despite everything. I am annoyed as we have been so very close but fallen short too many times.....BUT and it is a big BUT.... Two years ago we were having to put up with the Fleetwood goal celebration music !!! We have come so far....keep the faith....

A really frustrating night.... As many others have said we will never have another chance like that to beat United at Old Trafford...... I think we have really missed Chaplin.... He can unlock defence, we just don't have that... First time in a long time I have felt genuinely sad.... Yes the guys endeavour was there so I can't fault that but we just fell short...again .... |

Godfrey was found out again, accepting that Song is class and has been for a long time. I can see why Godfrey was let go by the Eyeties as he can't defend. OShea was better there but the damage was done.
Overall not a bad performance and 4 goals flattered Spurs but they never really looked in trouble. Clarke and Philogene have lots of potential in the f inal third but in the other two tthirds they don't seem to help either full back.
Other than that, the effort is there, we are still fighting and we are in better shape than Leicester and Southampton.... Uppa Town! |

I see Vlad dropped a clanger in the cup for Burnley to even out the balance ! But I would still swop Vlad for Music any day of the week - Vlad's distribution is faster, more accurate and he has two feet. With Slicker coming on at the end, I think Muric might be on his way out ..... Shame but we can't afford his howlers, despite him being second in the total number of saves made table! |

Bore Off. I used to have a lot of time for Fulham and their manager but after his display yesterday I think they are just another Prem team with dubious values... A real shame. The way they bombarded the ref constantly was just not on... I am glad we don't do that and so it should remain!

Come on you Blues! I think we just need to get properly stuck in. Let Sam and co clatter into a few of the City big names and let scrap our way in..... I suspect they are probably good enough to cope but as a few others have said, the City team is worth £1billion and alot of their success could arguably attributed to a great set of lawyers and some dubious regulation interpretation...if there is any justice out there I can see a 0-1 win...
