Ashton: We're Probably a Couple of Weeks Away From Being Granted Training Ground Planning Permission
at 13:03:29

I heard MA is also cooking lunch for the first team squad every day when the new training ground opens! BWB is right though - 30m is comparable with what Bournemouth are spending on their new facilities and they had also own the land already! So difficult to justify ‘elite’ status…

McKenna: We're Going to Attack the Game as Best We Can
at 10:02:16

Hope I’m wrong, but it feels like head has ruled the heart with some of our transfers. The ‘what if we get relegated’ scenario has played heavily on the mind of MA and we are short on proven top class players as a result. It’s gonna be a long season and every point is going to have to be hard fought for - hope we’re up for it!

O'Neill: Evans Will Take as Long as Needed to Make Appointment
at 14:34:50

It's extremely unusual for an outgoing owner to make a managerial appointment on behalf of the new owners. What happens if the deal falls through and ME is left with a manager not of his choosing? Therefore, Seems likely that the deal to sell the club is already signed!

Ipswich Town 0-0 Bolton Wanderers - Match Report
at 17:40:33

With the players that we now have, it's probably already too late to avoid relegation. The question needs to be asked how we best plan for that eventuality, and start to build for the future. This has been a poorly conceived experiment, if the aim was to extend our championship status. It may still pay dividends though, if it kick starts our renaissance as a football team, all be it in a lower league to begin with.

Ipswich Town 0-0 Bolton Wanderers - Half-Time

Expansive free flowing football this is not. But I do think we'll storm league one next year. If we can just keep this squad together!

Town Spend £241,969 on Agents
at 00:22:52

This sums up the financial constraints that we have been operating under for pretty much the whole of MM's time here. A simple comparison, I know, but if agents fees can be equated to ambition, then we are struggling to match Burton! God help the next bright young manager through the door. How long will they be able to perform miracles in this league with such paper thin resources?
