Always expected to lose today, problem is the scoreline and tbh bit of a capitulation. Main worry is for the new signings, not an ideal debut game, contrast to the last two seasons for Jan signings joining a winning set up. We need some new leadership injected and I'm hoping it's Ben Godfrey. He has quality and experience and looked good today despite the result, I think our chances of survival will ultimately depend on what he can bring and invest for the cause. |

Textbook away performance by proper prem squad, no shame in losing to them. Omari didn't look fit to me from first min, just didn't look quite right to me, shows the difference in squad levels having to 'risk' him. They also played RD well, got him distracted into machismo mode |

We are far from being a one man team ... but ... if Delap gets injured I'd be really worried. The way we're setting up, the no.9 needs to make the ball stick, Delap does it unbelievably well to get us up the pitch and make some chances, we don't have anywhere near a replacement |

I remember watching us away on the box at Gillingham, first week of 2022, and I couldn't believe the improvement in such a small period of time. I said to my youngster, this guy will be our third Manager of England. Even more convinced now! |

"After speaking to a couple of the lads, including Lewis Travis who was here last season, they just pushed me and said that I need to come and work under this manager, which is something I can’t wait to do." - Bet Eustace will love this :) |
 | News Comment | Magilton: I Saw Greatness in McKenna at 15:14:58
Got to love Jimmy Mags! One of the club's saddest days when he left, terribly handled by you know who. Glad that he's still got an affinity with the club, great comments re: KMcK, I wonder how he would have handled JM in his pomp? |

FA cup is broken, tired off teams making wholesale changes, its not fair on fans in particular and to an extent the players who come in and are expected to perform seamlessly. Perhaps they should make it an opt-in by end of June for next season on proviso starting 11 can only have 3 changes from previous league game (unless exceptional injuries etc.) That way FA know numbers ao can arrange qualifying rounds accordingly. Suspect most teams would play but might change the mindset? |
 | News Comment | McKenna: We Need to Stay Focused and Hungry and Back Up Last Week's Win at 19:59:43
Ipswich business - tried to get tickets today, was told I couldn't- post code (Hampshire not suffolk not in their catchment area. What a joke tinpot franchised club. Hopefully well take 3 points, our support will embarass theirs (inevitable) and they'll slip into Div 2. I reckon that we could have taken 10,000 so assuming 1,000 slipped the net, thats about £60k revenue they've turned down |
