 | News Comment | Wardley Wins! at 23:56:00
Someone on the BBC called him Fabio ‘Rocky’ Wardley but Fabio is actually Spider Rico in that narrative. In Rocky, the big star is Rico and It’s Rocky who is given an unlikely chance to fight him. Rocky fights with such heart that he turns the crowd but ultimately loses and the Spider Rico circus rolls on. So keep it up Fabio ‘Rico’ Wardley! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Not Impossible Omari Could Be Involved at 16:18:43
So thinking out loud our attacking options for tomorrow are: Possible starts- Clark Broadhead Delap Johnson Taylor Burns Possible from bench Omari Hirst So the starting striker will be Delap, I assume Clark on the left and Burns on the right and in the 10 Broadhead? Maybe Broadhead left and Taylor in the 10? I would guess.. Delap Clark - Broadhead - Burns And the end of the game Hirst ??? - Omari - Johnson Having Chappers, Smods and Philogene available would make a huge difference. |
 | News Comment | Muric: Really Pleased to Do My Job at 11:30:11
Knee-jerk reactions from pathetic fans, he didn’t need to make a statement after what he did on the pitch. I wonder who the next target will be for them? I bet if we are in the bottom 3 at any point after 10 games in, it’ll be all ‘McKenna out!’ And if you look back it’ll be the same people who said we should have dropped Muric after a nervous debut. |
 | News Comment | Walton Signs New Deal at 17:58:12
He's going to be the back up to Muric, but if he's happy to carry that, it can only work in our favour. If Muric can't get up and running or gets injured then we have quality to come in albeit we will have to change our playing style to suit his strengths. |
 | News Comment | Burns Signs New Deal at 17:52:57
28 goals at about 1 in 4, that stat isn't really mentioned much but it's a good return for a winger especially as he started off as a wing back. Great news, can't wait for him and Ogbene to do the 'starter/finisher' thing on the right. |
 | News Comment | Muric Dismissed From Kosovo Squad at 15:02:06
Way to get behind the team everyone. He’s going to be fine, he’s not going to be this year’s Williams he’s going to be this year’s Chambers or Skuse or Woolfy or whoever you have chosen to scapegoat for every goal we concede. He’s played 2 games, his debut was away at Man City and he was nervous and up against the best squad possibly ever assembled and against Fulham he was solid. Good keeper, not really bothered if he comes home and get some work done at Playford Road. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Striker Signing Less Likely Than Likely, But Broja Talks Back On at 17:22:34
Broya is the one for me. I knew this deal wasn’t finished, there’s no such thing as ‘official’ interest and there’s no such thing as ‘no official’ interest. It’s just people making deals and sometimes you need to walk away to get a better one. Not saying we’ll sign him because there’s Chelsea doing the best they can to get a deal too. I would much rather get our top target in 2 or 3 months than 2nd choice right now. |
 | News Comment | Boro's Latte Lath Linked at 12:36:33
Hyperbrit- don’t label people as ‘sicknotes’, that has lots of connotations. It implies that they don’t want to play or are for some reason feigning injury. They want to play and have picked up on or two injuries along the way. Luongo was labelled ‘sicknote’ by ignorant fans before he came to us. |
 | News Comment | Town Confirm O'Shea Signing at 13:13:35
Given the size of the bid for Broya we might look to go back in for the Greek lad. I haven’t heard that he’s gone anywhere although someone did bid for him after us. |
 | News Comment | Sunderland Accept Clarke Bid at 23:34:25
I’m starting to think that playing Liverpool and Man City early on isn’t so much an opportunity for us but lucky for them that we haven’t got our full squad together yet. |
 | News Comment | Town Make Clarke Bid at 07:22:24
I’ve often wondered if a Championship ‘All Stars’ team would be competitive in the Prem! |
 | News Comment | Eustace: Szmodics Situation Could Drag On Until End of Window at 09:30:36
As long as it gets done, it’s just a case of being patient when dealing with the owners at Blackburn. I’m sure we are pursuing other avenues because we want to bring in more than one player in that three behind the striker. |
 | News Comment | Blues Linked With Burnley Winger at 16:59:31
@Freaddysteady 1 - This hasn't come from the club 2 - The club can work on more than one transfer at a time 3 - Just saying another part of the field every time some random links us to a player doesn't move the debate on. It would make sense if the club had issued a statement saying we are actively NOT seeking another midfielder, but they clearly are. |
 | News Comment | FanZone Presenter New Man on Stadium PA at 22:10:24
Mark Murphy always sounded a bit like there was a punchline ready to be delivered somewhere in the back of his mind/throat. I get the feeling from what I've seen/heard of Dave Vant on Town TV that he really is going to go for it. I hope it's a little upgrade of the match-day experience for the next-gen fans in the crowd. |
 | News Comment | Blues 'Leading Race' For Birmingham Midfielder at 17:37:54
As a Welsh town fan, I watched all of Wales’ qualifying efforts and in a bit of a pipe dream i did think he’d be a great successor to Morsey or Luongo. Hell of a player. I hate the hope but I so want this to happen. He’s going to be worth a lot more than £10m after a season with KMK. |
 | News Comment | Town Among Clubs Linked With Belgian International at 06:42:23
When we were placing Accrington and Forrest Green 18 months ago. Who could have imagined we’d be giving a lukewarm reception to the idea of signing a Belgian international for over £10m from AC Milan for whom he’s played 111 games. It would be a big yes from me but have to wonder where he’d fit in with all the competition given Wes, Omari and now Delap can all play down the right. |
