Pearson is being very respectful to your club / your team / manager. The mention of finances is reference to Ashton’s time at City, not at Ipswich. He’s complimenting McKenna’s team building around an identity. Don’t be so sensitive!

Not just this thread but others over the past month or so, you’ll see that I don’t think you are a flash-in-the-pan either. Your “numbers” justify your position, unlike say PNE who were over-performing.

You got fees of £2.669m, no more, no less. Assuming that is mainly / all from Downes and Dozzell. Of that figure, you had to take off £308k for a player(s) you previously signed for a fee, and a £23k sell-on fee.

You may get sell-on for Downes in the accounts for this season (22-23)
